Once we got past the homeless guy rolling his own cigarettes in the doorway and talking to his imaginary friend and the staff chain-smoking at the lobby entrance, we were greeted with the news that our room would not be available until 4:00. (check in is at 3:00). We were offered a different room, so we took it because we had things to do. The room was sparse and smelled of a combination of old cigarettes and wet dog. It was clean, but the bed sheets had stains and one of the blankets had holes in it. Luckily, we only stayed for one night . . . and we will not return to this property. 

Never Again

This is an excellent choice for the budget-conscious. The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very pet-friendly and helpful—they made our stay wonderful! The only complaint I had was about the limited selection of breakfast items, but that’s not a big deal for us—there’s a grocery store just down the street and a McDonalds across the street. Overall, a great experience!

Best Value for the Price

We needed a place to spend one night while attending a wedding . We picked this location based on previous reviews and were not disappointed .Our room was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating . We needed an early check in so we would have time to change after a long drive and we were accommodated .

One night stand

The location was clean and decent but the couple running the place is less than scrupulous  I categorize him as a liar and thief  At least she called back and admitted my watch and bracelet were found  He said he was the first one in the room after I checked out and never saw my $3000 watch or bracelet  It was 4.5 hrs after I checked out on a Tuesday morning  She said she was going to mail the items to me  On Sunday I found the correct phone number she said it was mailed Saturday before she hung up on me

Stay away or watch your items closely so you don't leave them behind

The lady at the front desk was kind, friendly and helpful.   The room was clean and comfortable.  The wifi didn't work well.   My room was quiet.   I did not have a reservation and received the member rate.  It was well worth it.  

Good comfortable night

I needed a place to stay that wasn't far from Franklin, NY, where there aren't many options for overnight guests. I was happy with the Super 8, which was clean and has free wifi. And as a woman traveling alone, I also felt safe. It was baseball season so the price was higher than it had been just a week before, so it still wasn't cheap. The location was good for my purposes but it's on a highway, so it's not scenic.

Pretty Good for a Roadside Motel

Looks its not the Waldorf Astoria, but for a property in this class.  It was very good.  Room was clean, staff was helpful, internet was good. Great location.   Would have liked a Microwave but that was not a deal breaker. 

Good option in the budget category

My husband and I enjoyed our time here at this location. It is situated in a convenient spot which is so close to shopping, dining and entertainment. The hotel is kept very clean and our room was so comfortable. We will stay here again. 

Excellent service and great location

The staff was cordial and helpful, however, the overall facility needs some work and/or renovations. Some of the room furniture and accessories need to be replaced, and the bed mattress needs to be replaced. The hotel exterior needs to be cleaned, and the access road to the hotel needs repair. 

Cooperstown Visit

Windows and exit door stuck. Could not leave room, had to be rescued. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Phone did not work to call front desk. They moved me twice. Promised a discount on bill but only received $39 off a $750 bill. Don't stay here.
