Clean, comfortable and cozy. Very nice place for the price. Super close to everything. Tom is great. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality and great price! We had a great time and can’t wait to book again.

Nice, cozy place!

My wife and I have been married 42 years. This was the most relaxing vacation ever. We fished every morning off of the Resort Dock. Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass were in abundance. The cabin 2C is perfect for two or a family of four. The deck overlooking the lake is large. There is a gas grill on the deck. We cooked every night and it was fun. We normally went to a restaurant for lunch. The shower was fantastic, the cabin extremely clean. Remember to bring your own utensils because of Covid-19. We will be back. There is not a better value for the dollar on the lake.

What a wonderful peaceful Resort

Check in was simple - manager met us at the room for a "tour" and showed us around very pleasant.  Room was super clean had all the basics we needed - towels, mini frig and good A/C as it was 90+ all weekend.  Everything worked great - good tv and direct tv not a full channels but enough to kill some time.  Quiet not too busy.  When i asked about ice - "How much do you need" and manager showed up with a bag for our cooler before we left for our ballgames.  I would absolutely stay here again - most our team rented condos and paid $200 night - this was a bargain at $70 night.

Came down for a long weekend of baseball with my 12 year old son

The selling version...
Came to Osage for work, hadn’t secured housing yet. Called up Kay Lynn in the way in to town to inquire about their pet fees, which I was informed there was none. I went to booking.com and booked a room paying for it online as well. Once I got in they had no reservation, no knowledge of any reservation. A little frustrating, but I was able to cancel with booking.com and got my money back.
I decided to stay a little longer (ended up being about 2 weeks) and during this time was beyond courteous with the dogs as well as being guests. Was quiet, took our own trash out, never requested any services from them. I never felt truly welcomed here.

The cleaning lady, who lives here? With her kids? Passive aggressively complained about the dogs playing in the room. Instead of confronting me about it. So we stopped playing with the dogs. Then one day after taking the trash out this older woman in a Mizzou sweatshirt confronts us, “what room are you staying in?” Not once telling us who she was. I had to inquire who was so curious as to what room I was staying in. The general manager asked about a ruckus we heard. I wasn’t fully sure what she meant, as every night for the past week or so they had been putting peoplw RIGHT next door to us. (This during the COVID pandemic, so we were the only guests) the walls are so thin, and whoever lives right below blasts their tv every night. So again, not sure what she meant.

The big reason they get one star is the interaction I had with the general manager on the final day. We had left for 10 mins (probably more like 15, but not long) and the dogs apparently were barking while we were out (not the first time we’ve left them) well not long after we got back she was knocking on the door. My dogs were barking, and she just can’t deal with dogs barking. And they were tearing things up (didn’t see any damage...) so I called and asked about a refund (had two more days booked) and walked down to get it. Well the general manager must have seen me and followed me in. I apologized once more for the dogs barking, which she once more drove the point home about “the room is too small for such big dogs” (was never told about size restriction?) and I mentioned I had a couple more days booked (never was given a receipt...) in which she comes back, “I owe you $100” and gives me cash... I’d have liked the amount of tax I paid as well, but not worth a battle. After politely apologizing once more, she had to get one last quip in, “your dogs don’t have fleas?” Smh.

Bad bad management

I went on a weekend trip there once, because nothing else was available. Nice simple rooms with nice terrace and not far from the fire. It was nice, the owners were nice and hospitable.

Nice little hotel.

We got a group of people together at this resort, there were about 20 of us and this was the best spot to do this.  They put us all on the upper deck of the resort and we were able to walk right out our back door and meet on the deck.  This was great for our group when we wanted to talk we just walked out the door.  The owner is always so wonderful to us.  There are some updates being made.  Can't wait to return.

Returned again for another amazing stay.

The hotel was in a great location close to everything. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The tv was small but the picture was real good. The staff was great very helpful. Very nice for the money. The only fault I seen was that the door did not have a peep hole. But I will definitely stay there again for sure.

Lake of Ozarks

Very basic room.  No shampoo or hair dryer.  Television is the size of a computer screen.  The man who checked us in was very nice and the room was clean.  Good location.  Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Basic, affordable, no frills

Comfortable, clean,welcoming and great for the price! Nice little kitchen area with frig and microwave. The owner was very kind and helpful. Good parking and easy access to everywhere. I would stay again.

Nice place for a get away!

This is our second time staying at Kay Lynn. We know we could stay at a more established place with better amenities, but for the price, you can't find anything cleaner or friendlier. We will be back.
