Horrible. The rooms are gross and everything smells like an old smoker. im worried about having my baby stay in the disgusting room and I’m hoping none of us catch any horrible illness.

If you can overlook the uncomfortable beds, thin towels, outdated bathrooms, stinky and disgusting dirty carpets and try to ‘make it better’ with a shower - you better not use all of your prison issued shampoo because the old hag in the front won’t give you much more - and she’ll make you run all over the property before she’ll give you fresh towels.

Honestly - next time I’d rather save the money in sleep in my car.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Very disappointed in room, bathroom door does not close, water in shower was cold, no hot water at all.  Internet access did not reach to far end of building.  Option was given to work in the main area for a limit of couple of hours.  Room smelled of mustiness and smoke which we were told that it would disappear once the room air conditioner cooled the room.  Room was never that cold and smell never disappeared.   Would not recommend to stay again.  

Very disappointed!

To say the hotel is in need of an update is an
understatement. The shower curtain had mold
covering the bottom, leaning you to feel dirtier
after your shower than before. To say the beds
felt like concrete would be an insult to
concrete! A 2 night stay was $244 outrageous
for the accommodations! If I could give
negative stars I certainly would of done so!

Stay in your car would be better

Never dealt with such a rude owner / manager of any business in 30 years. Hard to comprehend… Stayed based on low rate, pay $10 more and save yourself a headache and have a good night sleep somewhere else.

Do not stay here!

We picked Quails Nest because they had the best rate that was pet-friendly. We had a room with 2 Queen beds, refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom was comically small. You couldn't open or close the door without it hitting the toilet and the bathroom door was broken; it wouldn't stay latched shut or locked. The mattresses were thin but not uncomfortable. For the extra money, I wish we would have driven down the road to a better hotel.

Outdated and too small

This is an older motel that is a lot of value for the money. Pet friendly. swimming pool. Very accommodating host. Close to all the shopping, restaurants, attractions. Walking distance to restaurants if you are drinking alcoholic beverages. Would stay there again.

Very nice

I liked that the room wasn't carpeted and was fairly spacious. Pretty quiet except when the occupants above us were walking. The room seemed to be pretty clean. I thought the bed was hard and the pillows uncomfortable but my GF thought it was fine. We did kill two bugs in the bathroom. (Looked like roaches) Hotel still uses metal keys which worried me as far as security. Someone pounded on my door, and by the time I looked they were gone so I called the front desk and they were responsive and said they would walk the hallways and investigate. A/C was good. No refrigerator or microwave in room. They do have a coffee maker. Toilet ,shower and sink worked fine. The sink and countertop were from the 60's and could use replacing.  Parking was ample for cars. Spots would be tight if you have a truck. Outdoor pool water was clear but had debris from trees in it. Indoor pool water looked milky. Continental breakfast has fresh donuts. Staff was friendly.

older property

We stayed over the weekend, it was a little dated, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool bathroom was a bit sketchy, as water was pouring from the light due to all the rain. It was reasonably priced and we did get to relax. Didnt try the breakfast so cant attest to how that was.

Decent

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean.  The big disappointment was the breakfast, what there was of it. Oh, and WiFi wasn't working. Front desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable about what to visit in the area.  Price reasonable for what I got.

Reasonable priced room in a resort town

Stayed overnight in July when in town for business. Have been a returning guest at Quail's Nest for several decades now. It's Classic Osage Beach...a clean and well kept older property that is a bit seasoned in spots, though truthfully nothing off-putting except to the overly-pretentious. Management and staff are very kind, accommodating and welcoming; they make you feel right at home. Rooms are clean and well appointed, most with mini-fridge and microwave. Reliable free high-speed wi-fi. Incredibly comfortable bed linens...you'll sleep well here. If you're a hotel snob, it's probably not going to work for you, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet room at a great price in what's probably the best location in town, you'll be satisfied.
