Went here based on other reviews but our experience was nothing like them. The inner spring mattress squeaked and poked on one side. Miserably uncomfortableThe folding chair at the table was badly stained. Also a stain on one of the bedspreads. Maybe it was clean but it sure didn’t look it.  I am a big fan of family owned small motels but this one needs to up its standards

We were so glad to find this motel at the end of a long day of driving. It was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. The price was excellent and the check-in was super! The gal at the check-in was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, comfortable motel.

Great little motel. No frills, but clean and well kept. The lady that checked us in was lovely. Just off the interstate and super convenient. I do recommend the addition of deadbolts or extra locks on the doors, particularly being a motel.

Very Good Mom and Pop Motel!!! Sam and Jody are very nice Folks! I highly recommend this place and make this your designated stop when visiting Osceola Iowa. Right off US Highway 34 and 69. Clean safe, quiet and comfortable . Let's support our mom and Pop run Motels and businesses as good lodging is getting harder and harder to find👍👍🇱🇷🇱🇷

Was locally owned. Didn't want to stay in a chain. 
1920's squeaky boing-boing mattress. 
I wound up sleeping in the car. It was better.
The shower was useless as well. I think it used to be a closet.

Super cute motor inn.  It was VERY clean and exactly what I was looking for in a budget friendly motel.  You can check in early or late virtually if needed or you can check in at the very friendly front desk.  They take pets too!!!  I will be back!! Great Motel 

Lovely motor inn Motel that is CLEAN and cute!

The hotel is more then I expected. The rooms are clean and the staff from the owner to housekeeping are friendly and make you feel at home. The rates are best in town and it's located close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a clean and quiet stay.

Clean and quiet accomodations.

I like that there is a keyless entry to the room.  This place is definitely not new, but it is spotlessy clean with a nice comfy bed.  The shower has great pressure and the water was nice and hot.  the towels are nice.  I need to find out where they got the window shades because I definitely want some at my home.  The only problem I found in the room is the placement of the shower control, but that is just me.  I loved it otherwise.  The shower in our room is new.  There is a refrigerator and a microwave.  The TV is positioned perfectly.  The owners have a sense of humor which you can see in the property directory and the sign on the table.   When  I went outside this morning, I was greeted by the sweetest fluffiest cat I've ever seen.  He looked like he wanted to cuddle.  He has a soft whisper of a meow.  
I can't say enough about this place.  It is dog friendly.  The pet fee is very reasonable.  The next time we stay in this area, this will be the place we want to go.

Great place to stay

Came to Osceola from Illinois to spend the night. I booked two rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooms were plenty big enough for us. Very nice stay. The only complaint I have is the air conditioners just didn't keep the rooms cool enough. Otherwise, a pleasant experience. Will definitely stay again.

Cute, quaint and quite.

This is our go to place when we travel through Osceola. It does have small rooms and is no frills. However, it’s always clean, quiet, and sold out if you don’t reserve a a room early enough. The staff is amazing and friendly. Not far from the interstate, shopping, food, and gas. We will definitely be back to the Evergreen again!!
