We stayed while working at the Bloomsburg Fair with our family.
The room was clean and spacious enough for our two adults and three little kids for nearly 2 weeks.
The staff was very friendly and let us store our bikes and carrier in the meeting room!
We could have used a little bigger fridge, but in the end it wasn't enough to dampen our enjoyment of the Motel6!

Great and friendly place

Lets see where do we start. How about at check in shall we. So me and a few of my friends used this hotel while we visited  the park about one half hour away. My friend had made the reservation here because he had previously stayed here and got a discount code for that previous stay. Now he did not originally input that  there would be three people in that room. So that had to be changed when we checked in. My friend explained that once he saw how that would change the cost, he would let each of us know what we owned him. As I got ready for the evening I noticed the price break down in the room on the door. An extra person cost 3 dollars per night. So I let my friends know that an extra person at 3 dollars a night would be an extra 6 dollars on top of the roughly 60 dollar discounted rate he got. We Will get back to that at the end of our stay. Lets talk about the room shall we.
Pros
the beds were new and clean.
Cons
The carpet was beyond stayed with everything from water, to bodily fluids. The sink basically barely drained. The bathroom door would not close right. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The bathroom, which was supposedly cleaned by the way had dirt and body hair in all the corners by the molding. The drawer in the night stand in between the beds had hair in it. There were little type written notes all over the room. One said the phone no longer worked and to either use your cell phone or come to the front desk if you needed anything. Looking back this does not seem safe. What if someones phone did not have signal, or was dead? There was another type written sign that said That some of the outlets and lighting was linked up to a light switch and if they did not work to try turning the switch. The outlets were old and worn out and falling out of the wall.  The walkway between the motel and the restaurant was musty with a mold smell. 

yes I said mold. 
I would not be surprised if the carpet within the room was molding as well. 

Now lets get into  checkout shall we. When my friend who made the reservation went to check out and was walking back out to the car and looking at his final bill. He noticed the discount code had vanished and the rate charged was the going rate. 
he went back in and was told that what likely happened was the girl who check us in ( an early 20's 5'1 ish blonde girl in a blue hoodie) had likely simply made it a new reservation rather than edit the existing discounted reservation. The morning lady who checked us out ( An older perhaps 40's or 50's lady with black hair) told him she would leave a note for the manager and that the manager would get back to him. As of this review the manager has not gotten back to him. 30 dollars a night is a massive difference. And since I did not make the reservation perhaps review blasting the motel would garner a response since the "owner response" came from everyone from a nancy to a lilly. When  a simple look at the wall when checking in and out would explain that the owner was someone with the last name of either Patel or Pantel. As the certificate of training was on the wall. Did the owner pass the training off to the employee's? It does not seem like it. Hopefully review blasting this review gets a response to my friend. Who booked room 112 started july 10th 2023. You should be able to look it up in your system which looked to be run off of a tablet based square or clover based system.

scam and slum

Checked in on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 and discovered bed bug droppings and live adult bed bugs in the mattress box spring. Informed management and moved to a different hotel. Was refunded for the stay.

Bed Bugs!

Full disclosure, this place is far from anything fancy.  When I give my ratings, I try to give the rating compared to similar types of motels.  Look, when you book a Motel 6, you should not be expecting Hilton or Marriott type extras.  I look at Motel 6 as the same way as I do a Super 8, Days Inn, Econo Lodge, and Red Roof.  All I ask is a clean, comfortable room with friendly service.  That's what you get here.  The place is outdated as hell - kind of tacky really - but it was clean - and I slept well - and the front desk people were nice.  BOOM!  That's what I need.  Would definitely stay here again.

Solid 4 For A 3 Star Motel

Me and my girlfriend had to stay at several hotels due to us finding housing, but out of all of the ones we've been to Motel 6 in bloomsburg is by far the best one thus far.

The staff has been nothing but kind and generous to us the past 2 months, the rooms were always  clean, the beds are always comfortable and easy to rest on, the bathrooms are small yes but very well acquainted, and the people there always are friendly to us.

Very Kind People

Room itself is nice enough for the price but it is apparent that they have lots of illegal activity there regularly. Also hotel layout is terrible. Only one door in and out. Message light won't turn off. Room supposed to have microwave but told need to use the one in the hall. Stay elsewhere.

Room decent, hotel set up poor

I was skeptical when I arrived here for work but for the price scale it's the best around. I stayed here for 3 weeks straight for work. Stayed in room 214. I can say it is outdated buts it's also very inexpensive. I don't like when people compare cheap and expensive hotels to the same standards. Obviously it's not the Ritz-Carlton but I'll explain why I give it 5 stars.
•wonderful staff! I have stayed in many hotels all over the country and this one would rank in the top 5 for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Anything I ever asked for was answered with a smile, and my room was always clean.

•cleanliness- I searched every room I ever stay in top to bottom for bugs, and absolutely no trace here. In fact I normally will find something (trash, hair, etc) but didn't find anything here.

•I found the bed rather comfy and my fridge was large enough to hold more than a few bottles of water.

•great restraunt attached to hotel, with great service and food. 

•easily accessible from highway, overall good location. Laundromat, gas stations, and fast food all within a few miles.

Some cons.. 

• there was some plumbing issues the hotel should look into. Had issues with my toilet often but not really that big of a deal as it wasn't hard to plunge. 

• hotel is out dated, and there was a slight smell but that maybe from chemicals to disinfect in between guests, a bottle of febreeze later and it was fine.

Overall I will stay here again, no doubt. I wouldn't call it a vacation resort but definitely a great price for travelers or workers. Reccomend this for a cost effective stay!

Making lemonade with lemons

Made an unscheduled stop in Bloomberg and need a place to stop. Fortunately there was a cancellation at the motel6. The desk clerk was super friendly and courteous and found me s room. Every room was on the first floor and one entrance in. The room was large and had a refrigerator and microwave . You could even get a reasonable priced beer at the front desk if you wished. I had some cards to mail but no mail box at the hotel , so the desk clerk said no problem she would drop them in her mailbox.Thats service. There is a very good family restaurant right next to the hotel with good food and very reasonable

Nice Place To Stay

Looks from early seventies !! Needs to be really deep cleaned. GM says they are working on replacing floors and carpet. Allowing animals also means stains and odd smell s in rooms no matter what. g m says they painted but could use more

Very outdated

The Bloomsburg PA Motel 6 is what all Motel 6's should be. This is the only Motel 6 I know of that has rooms that open into interior corridors, instead of opening to the outside. This means little chance of insects getting inside the rooms, and no traffic noise from nearby Route 11. The coffee is great (Green Mountain brand). The service is excellent. The parking lot is huge - very easy to park. I will definitely be staying there when I visit Knoebels Amusement Park again next year.
