On the surface, the hotel looks modern and updated, The breakfast area was also. BUT……..

Our mattress in Room 106 sounds strange with popping noises on the side closest to window.

Front desk staff knows little  about the internet.  The password connection did not work, only help from staff was providing  the 1 800 number.   We also were told TV was a smart TV, but it  was not.  

Approximately 7:45, No staff at front desk and no staff in the breakfast area.  This is what we found:
Luke warm coffee
No plates
No fruit
Main breakfast ~ soggy biscuits and Sausage.

When we left after eating, a staff person finally appeared.

Certainly not  a quality Country Inn or Radisson Hotel experience.

Daughter and I had a great experience at this location. Indoor pool.  Very spacious room. Everything working fine. Nice variety to select from during breakfast. Added bonus was cookies, coffee or hot cocoa at any time. Close proximity to various eateries, gas and stores. Not that far from Jackson metropolitan area. Kudos for friendly professional staff. This was my second time staying here and will definitely return! Thanks for your hospitality!

Lovely Stay

We stayed in this area in order to attend a family event. The staff was very nice and accommodating so this review is not a reflection of the wonderful staff this review is to reflect poor management . The reason I am giving a 2 star is because housekeeping and the front staff was so nice. The hotel room was filthy, I had to use Clorox wipes and Lysol to clean the room due to dirt, dust, dirty microwave and dirty toilet . I attached pictures to show the bathroom sink was broken and detached from the vanity and leaking. The curtains were ripped and the light switch was cracked and broken. The bathroom was old with yellow stain maybe old paint around the mirrow. The corners in the bathroom had gross  dirt that I didn’t attempt to try to clean and the entire  room had a moldy odor. The walls had yellow stains and the lamp shades had brown stains on them.  I also had other family members who came from out of town stay there. One family checked out the same night to go to another hotel due to the uncleanliness and mold under their bed. The other family had a moldy smelling room also and it was dirty. When housecleaning came they were nice and apologetic because they ran out of clean towels! Then dirty sheets and towels from all the rooms  laid on the floor in the hallway all day until 10 that night. The hallway had an odor also. I would not stay here again and I suggest you don’t either!

Very Dirty Hotel Beware And Don’t Stay Here!

This hotel is terrible. Do not stay here. We had several rooms booked while visiting the area for family member's memorial service. After checking in we found mold and mildew in all of the rooms, dried vomit, and smoke alarms with no batteries in them (major safety hazard). And on top of all that, when checking with other businesses in the area, we were told there had been reports of bed bugs here. We stayed there an hour at most and then asked to leave and get a refund. No manager was available and we were told they couldn't refund us for the first night despite the many safety and health issues present. We were told only the manager could provide a full refund. When we finally got a hold of the manager, she promised to call back with an answer about a refund and then didn't call back and avoided the remainder of the calls. The owner refused to give a refund as well once we finally got a hold of him. We were charged $125 for each room for being there an hour at most. Don't stay here unless you want your money stolen, love the smell of mildew, and the possibility of bed bugs coming home with you. What a dump.

The shower was weak and the breakfast service was poor . The staff was not helpful when we had problems with the television. Overall I would not recommend this to anyone and would not stay there again

First room was occupied, second had damp, 3rd general neglect and lack or maintenance, broken cupboards, carpet stains etc. I think this was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. Recommend looking at alternatives before staying here

Very disappointing

It’s not the bed but it’s definitely not the worse. It’s a comfortable stay and safe location but the rooms are pretty basic for the price. I mostly had an issue with the lighting because the lamps were dim at night and the curtains don’t close so it’s pretty impossible to sleep in

Good for the area

Country Inn & Suites by Raddison, Byram/JacksonSouth, MS location was awesome but management staff was absolutely unacceptable. The room was not cleaned & sheets were not changed which caused the guests uneasiness & we will not stay again or recommend new guests to reserve a room.



Horrible Hotel

The room left your feel black, who knows when is the last time they mopped. A small un defrosted 1980's refrigerator. The mattress in 120 was old and my wife and I ended up rolling to the middle. The manager should sleep on that bed for a night, check his rooms and think, is this worth it? The pet deposit was a money grab, 25.00 per night/pet on a tile floor @ a walk in rate of 134.00 They take my credit card for incidentals, certainly they could have charged me if I allowed my pet to make a mess.The breakfast is continental with the option of powdered eggs with Potatoes day one Biscuits and sausage, no gravy day two .We went outside for breakfast day three. Pool was closed for two of three nights. Fitness room was closed, exercise outside in the 100 degree heat. I would, in fact, avoid staying in the entire Byram / Jackson areas 4 hotels and go up to Jackson next time and have a real comfortable room. 5mbs-d 2-mbs up, not high speed for a person conducting business and video conference with high latency.

•check-in was told breakfast was available until 10:30. At 9:50 was told that was wrong info and I missed the food. Having 2 children 4 and under with me, this made it much more difficult as I had to go elsewhere to get them food and didn’t get to just clean them off in my hotel room before getting them dressed
•no tissues in tissue box in the bathroom of our room… we were literally in town for a funeral.
•dirty towel stuffed in hair dryer bag on back of bathroom door
•old water in coffee pot
•extra linens for sofa bed a big mess, looked dirty
•after checking in, got a text saying “let us know if you need anything”.. requested more linens via text and never received linens nor a response
•how is an entire exercise room “out of order?”
• phone didn’t work. At all. 
•finally brought extra linens…. The second day, after asking again in person… and left the pile of dirty towels on the floor.. didn’t bring pillows
•day 2, zero clean towels or wash cloths in my room.. asked the front desk clerk to send some up on our way to the pool while I was holding my baby, a toddler, floats, and a bag and she told me I’d have to take them up myself because she’s the only one here
•the pool looked gross
•toilet roll was 2/3 gone… aren’t they supposed to put a fresh roll out??
