I made the reservation for this hotel, because of the various positive ratings. The ratings are grossly mis-leading. The room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. The hotel didn't have a working ice machine. The air conditioning was sporadic at best, and extremely noisy. There was an odor in the room. This was not the experience I was expecting from the reviews. Will not ever go to this hotel again and suggest others to avoid.

Poor experience at this hotel.

I have stayed here many times.Everytime I  have been greeted warmly and treated like family. The room is huge and very clean. I will always come back to here everytime I'm in the area. If I were to ever see a problem,as soon as I tell them its fixed. I would and do recommend this hotel to anybody. You can't beat the service or the price. The location is perfect. You are within eye site of I-80

This place is a joke. Called place and he called my wife a a bad name they won't let me type here. I called him back and he insisted on calling me mames I can't type on here so I hung up on him and he called me back cussing me out. So I think this hotel is a joke

Bad place

I came back into town and needed a place to stay, I called and asked if a weekly room/rate was available? The lady on the phone said yes and I told her I was on my way. I showed up 15 minutes later and was told the room was rented to another person already. I looked around confused because it was after 11pm on a Wednesday night. She said they got an online order and couldn’t work around it. I asked if they had any rooms available and she said only daily till Sunday. So I said sure I need a place to stay, they charged me 285$ for 4 nights and then moved me to a weekly room which they said was 250$ a week rate but was later changed to 290$. I didn’t care as much but when I went to go renew it for the next week (because they only do week by week, they informed me that they had another online reservation come in and I needed to be out in the morning. (Mind you when I asked for weekly rate room I advised them I would be there for at least 4-6 weeks) So as I get my final bill the guy behind the counter says “sorry for trouble but room will be available Thursday you can come back” hahaha 😂 Yeah I kind told him to f*** off at that point.

Looking for an affordable hotel near the turnpike? This hotel is a good option. Great rate, everything worked properly, no bad smells, comfortable bed, quiet. Recommend
If you need a place to sleep near the toll road/turnpike, don't hesitate to book here.

Good price, clean room, comfortable bed

Nice accommodation, even after midnight. Simple but clean and comfortable room. Very good price ratio. Easy access from the highway or the small road, 45 minutes from Cedar Point. Nice night.

Very good step on the road

Very nice place to stay at,beds were comfortable,room was very clean,owner was very polite and very informative about the area,it might not look like much from the outside but it was worth the price to stay at,it's not a top of the line place but I will stay again when I come back this way 

Nice place to stay 

This was a Very clean and quiet motel family operated hotel right off highway just inland from Lake Erie. Old decor in the rooms and all in like new condition and mattresses were new at the time of our stay. Worth the money 

Somewhere to nest for the night 

As a travel nurse, I stayed here for three months while working at a Toledo hospital.  My priority was safety; then cost, location and free Wi-Fi.  This place provided everything needed.  Although it’s clearly dated, the room was clean and a comfortable bed.  The parking lot and building are extremely well lit. The owners were great and available 24/7 (even when you lock yourself out of your room at 5am).  
The appears to be out in the middle of nowhere, but the location was great.  Close to the Ohio turnpike, and within 20 minutes from anything needed. All in all, a good experience.

Love to support local businesses

We stayed here on a whim...it was less than $75 including tax. The room was very clean but dated. the king bed we had was comfortable. The bathroom was large and tub had a textured surface. Towels were on the skimpy side. The bathroom fan which came on with the light was extremely loud.  Had I washed my hair I would have had to ask for an extra towel as there were only 2 bath towels , 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. A/C unit was old but worked really well. It was off when we arrived and it took a while to cool off the room. No breakfast but the owner did give us 2 cans of 7-up upon arrival and said we could have a noon checkout if needed. I did like that we had a table and chairs in the room and a recliner. We did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room.
