I stopped here for 1 night. The hotel is big but EMPTY. So yes, it freaked me out. But the whole town is actually like that... The owner's wife was very kind to me, helped me with my heavy luggage so I stayed mainly because she was here and I did not know where to go. The room was big and alright, it just smelt like smoke. 
The main problem was I couldn't feel safe : there were no other clients around, but suddenly a lot of activity around 3am and there were constantly people staying in their cars on the parking lot at night. I guess a lot of traffic goes around there. Especially as a female alone, I felt SCARED in that place. There is a police station in front of the hotel, but the whole town of Pine Bluff looks unsafe. DO NOT STOP HERE, just for your own safety.

Unsafe city, unsafe neighbourhood, empty hotel

We were driving by this hotel and we wanted to take rest overnight and suddenly we came across this hotel and decided to stay there for the night. When we entered inside the Hotel, we realized it was so neat and clean, the staff greeted us very nicely..... the rooms were in very good condition.... overall it was the perfect stay...

Very good hotel to stay

How is this place even authorized to be open? First I arrive at 3pm to check in and the hotel is locked! The manager finally arrives and unlocks the door. The lobby and entire hotel is empty and hot. The first room I check in to is a suite. Very nice size room BUT it smelled of mildew, the ceiling fan did not work, and no hot water. So I ask for a different room. 2 doubles this time. Walk in turn on lights and a "critter" runs into the bathroom. I turn on the light in the bathroom to see the coffee pot being used to collect water dripping from toilet. Long story short the rooms are infested with bugs (see pics of the bed and back of my friends leg. My back looks worse), only one person works there, ice machine doesn't work, no housekeeping, pool is closed. My advice stay somewhere else or go buy plenty of cleaning supplies and new sheets. This place needs to be condemned. 

Horrible

We booked thru Orbits which showed it to be a 2 star property with no reviews. But being that we were on a budget and that it was across from the convention center I have it the benefit of the doubt. When we arrived the lights were all out inside despite it being an enormous hotel, but upon calling the number posted a man showed up immediately and greeted us. He was polite and apologetic, explaining that the hotel was under- going renovations and had just reopened the day before. We were only the third room that had booked since they opened. He quickly checked us into our room and offered to get us anything we may need.
Upon entering our room we were very pleasantly surprised, all furnishings were 
clean and in good condition, room was free of any stains or odors. Large and well equipped suite, with plenty of room for our group of 6, with a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and restaurant. There was an indoor pool and a nicely appointed forei,  though it was still under renovations. The manager on duty assured us that the next time we came thru everything would be up to the highest standards. I recommend this hotel baseits location, accommodations and excellent customer service. We booked the room at $54 a night for a king suite, and it was worth every penny and then some. I have every confidence that this hotel will very soon be polished into the gem I saw it to be.
