The Redwood Lodge was very nice and enjoyed staying here.  Checking in was fine, the rooms were great.  There was a pool to take a dip in.  Breakfast had a good variety to food and drinks.  Our bed was super comfy, the pillows were as well.  The shower had great pressure and a nice shower head for an enjoyable shower.  We liked the location as well.  I would return and also recommend to fellow travelers.

Redwood Lodge Relaxation in Minnesota

This hotel was very appealing coming in. The ambiance was very quaint and homey. We were told that they were upgrading the hotel and the first floor was limited/no rooms. We got a room on the third floor. This was fine but the front desk clerk didn't tell us the right way to go (there are three wings of the hotel), it took us a while to find our room.

The room was fair. It was roomy and clean and had 2 comfortable queen beds. It had a "long wall desk" with a television in front of it. The bathroom was nice and roomy.

The room did not have a security door lock on it. I needed to use a computer before 7:00 pm on the night we stayed. I figured that since the website said there was a "business center" there would be one. It was out of order. I had asked if there was a place in town that had one. The gal at the front desk said she thought the library, looked it up on her phone, and said that I had half an hour before they closed. She didn't know where it was because she didn't "know the town". She did give me the address.

The breakfast was okay, there were hot eggs and sausage, and cold cereal. No pastries, but a loaf of bread.

I stay at the Redwood Lodge typically once or twice a month for business/work. I am a frequent guest because I love the place. I know that John the manager keeps up the place very nice and he always has wonderful and friendly employees. The breakfast is always very good!! Infact, you will not find many better motel breakfasts.  I love the comfy beds too!! The place is always very clean with a beautiful lobby along with a fireplace and a nice sitting area for groups. John and staff, keep up the good work!

Redwood Lodge deserves 10 stars!!

We stayed one night.  The room was clean and very spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. Easy check in and even switched rooms for us to make us more comfortable.  Breakfast was good.  Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Very nice motel

This hotel is very nice!  The rooms are spacious and quiet.  The beds were very comfortable however they are only full size beds (was hoping for at least queen in our single rooms). There is an elevator to access the 2nd and 3rd floors.  The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast was delicious with hot eggs, sausage, waffles, cold foods and fresh fruit.

Very Nice!

Disappointing stay.  Lobby very cute & updated beyond that this hotel needs a lot of TLC.  Bathroom was gross, shower curtain was absolutely filthy, lamp shades were all stained. Odd smell, walls paper thin, air conditioning shuts off every 3-4 minutes.  Flies throughout the room, I believe they might have been fruit flies.  This is the nicest hotel in Redwood Falls which is just scary because it was just not clean.  Staff was friendly at check-in and  only good thing about our stay was that it was close to Pizza Ranch.

Needs a deep clean & remodel

We needed to get away for the holiday weekend, and we like water falls. Looking at our options in Redwood Falls, MN we picked the Redwood Lodge, not really knowing what it might be like given the pandemic. It was awesome. Carmen greeted us warmly, assured us of the precautions they are taking, and helped us find a place for dinner. What was most welcoming was her openness to who we are, a gay couple and mixed race family. Carmen, and the other staff, were wonderful, inviting, and informative. We felt welcome in all manner possible. I am so glad we chose the Redwood Lodge. Oh, and it was clean - very clean - and comfortable.

Wonderful staff!

I stay here periodically for work. It has always been nice and now it's even better. The lobby and breakfast area has been remodeled. So now there's a hot breakfast with wonderful pastries. The rooms are nice and have awesome beds. I stay in hotels about 120 nights a year and the Redwood Lodge has some of the most comfy beds. All of the staff deserves an A plus in customer service and keeping up a pristine hotel. 

Very Nice!!!

The staff is always very friendly, the hotel is clean and they have a great common area to hang out in! They are pet friendly which is really helpful when we travel with our dog, and it's a great location in town!

Great Stay!

We were there for a pheasant hunting weekend, and loved the amenities.  Pet friendly (not all places in RF are), fantastic new breakfast serving room (free breakfast), comfy rooms at a great value (used AAA discount).   We will be back!
