Nothing fancy about this place, but it is clean, had a microwave and fridge,  nice bathroom, (strange room layout, but it makes it unique?) and had modern big screen  TV with cable or satellite. We were looking for something last minute and even though it is an older motel, it was perfect for what we needed.  We felt safe and worked out for what we needed.

Pleasantly Surprised

The man running this motel is very rude and unprofessional. He called the afternoon we were driving into town to confirm our reservation, we did. But when we got to the motel he tried telling me I only reserved a one bed room (I didn't, I reserved a two bed room because as much as I love my dad, I would rather not share a bed with him and my spouse). I showed him my printed reservation, and he told me he changed the room because he assumed we would only need one bed. He then told me I could have one bed or go to another motel. 

What a wonderful experience......

Save yourself and get another room. Others in town would be a few dollars more, but worth it.

Run by slime balls

This was the only room available in town, and husband and were somewhat worried due to the low price,  But our fears were unfounded.  Our room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. And there is cute coffee shop right across the street that we had breakfast at.  

Recreation

We are motorcycling thru US.  We pack our own food.  This motel was very clean, new room, wifi, fr, microwave, ac, qubed.  Great room! Non smoking.  Motel kept in great shape! Due to 200 characters requirement I will ,.....asdkfjsal;difjas;lidfjal;isdfjals;idfj!

Pleasantly impressed

Old but clean, comfortable beds and no foul smells. Friendly and helpful staff. 
Poor wifi signal. 
I woke him the clerk up around 11:30pm and asked for a room, he booked me and there were no issues. I slept well.

Clean Room Comfortable Bed

Not exactly located in the best part of town but was convenient to a very good restaurant across the road. Owner at reception desk is working with family to clean rooms as well. Overall the place is a little bit on the sketchy side - other guest seemed to have broken down cars and stuff. Beds were adequate, room appointments ok, wifi a bit troubling, breakfast was very sparse (2 cereal choices and milk). I'll probably not try to go cheap next time I'm in Riverton and spend a few more dollars to stay in a better place.

Adequate stay

If you are checking the reviews for the Tomahawk Motor Lodge, be aware that this is a basic motel: Nothing fancy, nothing attractive, nothing appealing.  It's just a basic overnight motel with decent accommodations.

The owner, Mr. Chaudhari, is welcoming and friendly.  He was quite willing to show us available rooms.  We rented the one which best suited our overnight need.  He also recommended the excellent restaurant across the street, where we ate.

But do not expect the motel itself to be excellent.  As one of the other reviewers said, "It's an OK place to stay."  It'll do as a one-nighter.

Basic Motel

Stayed one night and first thing I see is someone had relieved their dog on the sidewalk in front of one of the rooms, and that waste was still there when we left the next day.  I watched the owner and his wife the cleaner walk past it and over it with the cleaning cart and never remove it.  The parking lot is in need of a good power wash.  Exterior windows are filthy, counter top in our bathroom was faded and in need of replacement, Wallboard walls were sloppily painted white and one coat was not enough, interior windows and sills filled with dirt and bugs.  Rooms had an odor.  I noticed it in two rooms as we were a group.  WIFI was mostly not working or we couldn't stay logged onto it.  The showers were clean and the water came out generously.  I think they could install water savers and conserve water. 

I think we paid too much for the low quality of the room.

Poorly maintained, little or no WIFI

This motel is recommended: well-located, clean, friendly staff, good price-performance ratio. It can be highly recommended, it is a good choice. The water-saving showerhead is unique!
