Robert, the guy at the front, had an AWFUL attitude with me. He yelled at me with a cigarette in his hands and shook it at me like i was stupid or a dog. He was so incredibly rude, it ruined my whole stay.

HORRIBLE service.

Worst hotel/motel I’ve ever been to. Strong odors of funk mixed with smoke surround this place. Dead bugs on hotel wall and floors reused trash bags. Just all around squalor. Covenant driving school puts its students here to stay and it’s sickening just to come in this hotel.

Disgusting

I booked this hotel for my husband, myself and two daughters to stay in for one night during our visit to Waco.  We arrived at 7PM and were not so nicely greeted by the receptionist.  We were assigned to room 218 (marked as a non-smoking room)  We proceeded to the room and the smell of smoke choked us out upon walking in.  My 6 year old started coughing immediately.  There was also blood on the pillow.  My husband went down to the lobby to see if they could move us rooms or do anything about the smoke smell.  The receptionist said that we could have room 216.  My husband comes back up with that key and opens the room and the beds were un-maid/dirty, pizza boxes, dirty towels, etc.  Has not been cleaned.  So I go down to the lobby again.  At this point the receptionist is overwhelmed, complaining about working two jobs, etc.  Says she hates Baylor Homecoming weekend; just negative as can be.  

She gives me a master key that can open any room (what in the world!!) and says I can "try" room 415 or 416.  This key worked on any room...that should not be allowed.  Anyways, the first room had a construction worker in it and was being worked on.  Finally the 4th room was "cleaned" and unoccupied.  So we settled on staying in the 4th room.

It was dirty.  The microwave was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty.  The bathroom was okay.  We skipped the free breakfast after seeing everything else and got out of there by 8AM.

Do not stay here unless you are use to paying $30-$50 per night for a hotel because this was about on that level.

Terrible Experience October 2021

Do not stay! We stopped in for a stay with our family of three littles after a long day of driving. Should have went with my gut after waiting awhile to get checked in. First room had standing water in bathroom. Moved us to a new room...no pillows or towels. Asked for five pillow, but said he only had four available Decided to leave due to poor hospitality and three strikes, not to mention poor cleanliness, but they wouldn't give refund. Front desk called owner and he was anything but kind. Not asking for Hilton service, just basic sleeping essentials for $90+!  This all took over an hour and half due to poor service. DO NOT give them your business. Their description says new management and rooms...such a lie! Rooms are old and grungy. Whole place smelled of smoke. I repeat DO NOT STAY!

Do not stay!

Not very Clean the front Desk only Check people in can't help with any thing else, TV does not work and no one could help,when there's coffee it is cold. The old guy at the front desk comes in from cigarette break to make coffee, no hand washing of any sort, at least sanitize. Thank goodness for McDonald next door.

Accessibility is the only only good thing about the hotel. Location is the Best thing for this hotel

This places is disgusting. Sticky mouse/roach traps behind the fridge, stains all over everything, you could hear everything through the walls, they reused trash bags so I’m sure the same goes for the sheets, smelled terrible, and the staff was rude. There was even old food on the floor in the room I checked into.  I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

We booked Robinson Inn & Suites through Booking.com for Baylor graduation weekend. We arrived at our designated check-in time, only to learn we'd been double booked. This has never happened in all of our years of traveling to Waco and staying in hotels across the city for various Baylor events. The man working the front desk was pretty apathetic about it and didn't seem to care that we were inconvenienced. Some of our family members also booked through Booking.com and their reservation was fine, but we heard the next morning that they saw three cockroaches in their room overnight. I'd avoid this hotel if I were you.

Find another hotel.

Several friends and I made two seperate reservations at this motel for this past week-end. The first reservation for 2 rooms, one night was made thru reservationcounter.com on Monday the 22nd. The second reservation for 4 rooms three nights were made thru booking.com back on February 24th. When we arrived at the Motel Wednesday they did not have the reservation for that night. They did however see the reservations for the other three nights. Fortunately they were able to find us rooms for Wednesday night so we thought we were set.  Thursday morning Mrs. Bell went down to the desk to find out if it would be possible to either check out late or check in early for the other rooms so we did not have load everything up and then bring it back in later that day. However the Manager could not find our reservations for Thursday-Saturday. Said they "didn't go thru". Now mind you there was a marathon in Waco over the week-end, EVERYTHING for miles around was booked up. And the rooms were going for 3 times what our reservations were for. Included "Our" motels rates. The Manager said he was sorry, but the rooms that we were supposed to get had been booked a month ago. (We also booked a month ago!) So basicly were we out of luck. ZThe Manager never lifted a finger to help us and would not looked any of us in the eye. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going there. And to top it off the rooms not nice

Horrible

My family booked a room at another hotel for the 15th through the 17th. That hotel was worse than this one -I would have given that a negative rating. So we called here & they were nice & said they had one room available with double beds. Upon arrival the front desk clerk asked why we chose not to stay at the other hotel & I told him because of the overwhelming marijuana smell on the 2nd floor & I have small kids with me. He said "well, honestly, if we called the cops every time we had people smoking pot in the rooms we wouldn't have customers". First red flag of the stay. The room itself was dirty, the beds were awful, the bed sheets came off the mattress w/every move we made, there were ants in the bed & bathroom, the curtains were stained w/cigarette smoke stains, the list goes on & on. We wanted to stay at a different hotel so we tried to get a refund for the second night & was told "we need 24 hour notice". Well, we booked JUST LAST NIGHT. How could we give a 24 hour notice? 
Last but certainly not least, I called on Monday the 18th because I believed I left something there. The manager on the phone said that the cleaning crew comes during the weekdays & they would not be there until 11am...WE LEFT THE ROOM ON SUNDAY & THEY STILL HAD NOT CLEANED IT!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE

We were in Waco for homecoming @ Baylor.  My daughter made a hotel reservation (six weeks in advance) for one night – noting that it was recommended as a cheaper place to stay.  It turns out, it was the best she could find considering their go-to-hotel had substantially increased their room rate and all she could find was hotels for $300+/night. She gave me the hotel name (Robinson Inn & Suites) and a week prior to arrival, I searched for reviews – the reviews were mixed, which was confusing at the time – but after one night, I can confirm the negative reviews are spot on.  We have no problem accepting outdated furniture or a drab dark bedspread, however; holes in the carpet; stains on the carpet; two sagging double beds; a mattress with a replacement value of $50; soiled/splatters of who knows what on the box springs; filth on both sides of the bathroom door and black in the water when you first turned on the shower – unacceptable.  I would compare Room 105 to a dirty restroom you would find in remote or old gas station.  In the morning I went to get a cup of coffee and they only had no-name powdered creamer packets– what was I thinking, I’m still at the old gas station.  When we opened the curtains, about 2’ from the right hand corner of our window was an old chair and what appeared to be a dusty old cooler, along with papers on the ground – did a homeless person sleep outside our window?  Creepy is the best way to describe this hotel.   For sanitary reasons, we bought a coffee to-go from McDonalds next door – then had a prepaid breakfast elsewhere. If cleanliness is not a priority, then you would happy paying $90/night.  Otherwise; fill your gas tank at the Pilot Truck Stop that’s on the opposite side of the hotel's driveway…and drive further south or even north, if need be. On a positive note, the desk clerk was nice. For us, never again!
