I spent one night there and it was not pleasant.
The room door electric lock wasn’t working, so I had to get staff to let me in. Lucky I only planned to go to dinner and not out all night, as after 8.30pm I’d have to wait for a security company to let me in.
The room stunk of something foul. Wether it was animal, urine or something else it was not pleasant.
The lady on reception was very helpful and arranged a can of spray and an ozone machine but the smell didn’t go away.
The room seemed clean but very much in need of maintenance - the ceiling was stained and paint was peeling.
Towels are pretty thin and takes some effort to dry.
Having parking out front the other guests vehicles starting at the crack of dawn wake you.
The walls are very thin and I was able to hear next doors morning pleasure. The bed was good enough, but seriously I don’t wish you to sleep in it.
Never ate breakfast, I checked out at 6.30 am and will never return.

The Loyalty Inn website gives you a very different impression of their facilities then what I had here.

Sketchy at best

Pitiful excuse for a hotel. Ridiculous front desk staff. I tried to call my sister who was a guest at the hotel. I explained I thought I had the correct room number, but due to the fact I dropped by there for less than 5 minutes, I wasn't 100% sure I had the correct room number. I didn't think I had any need to remember it after I left. To be clear,  I did NOT ask the desk clerk to give me the room number. I know they're not allowed to give out that info.  I simply asked him to ring the room. He REFUSED. He said it's policy. I said I've called there numerous times and explained to other staff that  I wasn't sure about the room number and they had put me right through. He asked if that was the case, why didn't I know the number!! I tried to explain they rang the room, but of course,  hadn't given me the number. He made a smart remark about how he wasn't there to argue with me. I travel quite a lot. I have been in 11 different countries in the last 2 months alone. I've NEVER had staff tell me at ANY hotel ANYWHERE that they couldn't ring a room for me. The owner of the hotel should be embarrassed. 

Completely inept staff

My husband and I came to town for a car show. Didn’t really wanna spend an arm and leg on a motel being we only shower and slept there lol we made arrangements to stay at another motel but wasn’t happy with it when we arrived. So we came to this motel and stayed. We were very happy with the motel. We had booked for 2 nights but we had to change it for just one night. The motel employee was very helpful and nice with the changes.

Great!

We had a nice visit. The young man Ricky at the front desk made us feel truly welcomed. We will be staying again on our next visit to Rockingham. The room accomidations wereok for the price. Everything is within 5 to 10 minutes from the property.

Great Stay.

This place was horrible. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom, the floor were dire. We had roches and the rug was dirty and frayed. I complaind to the front desk ans the woman didn't care just said OK and kept playing on her phone. The room was inexpensive but it came at a price. NOT WORTH IT! Don't go here. There was plenty of parking because there were no other guests ther. This should have been a warning. I checked out the next day.

Clean, convenient, surprisingly comfortable beds. Nothing special, a clean place that won’t break the bank. I’ve paid more for places whose rooms didn’t include a fridge and a microwave. I would stay again if necessary. 

No Frills, Decent Place to Lay Your Head

This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. I’m actually embarrassed to say that I stayed here- but we were exhausted from driving all night, and there were no other options, as everywhere else in the area was booked. There were holes in the walls, the carpet was sticky- so sticky that my shoes literally stuck to it. I kept my shoes on the whole two hours we were there. Two hours was all I could handle. We had to put trash bags over the sheets on the beds, and then cover the trash bags with our beach towels, and then sleep on our beach towels because the sheets were dirty, and had hair and makeup stains all over them.  Mold and mildew surrounded the toilet and bath tub bases. There were flys and bugs all over the room. The dust ruffle on the bed and carpet had some kind of white stains on it. The towels looked like they were “washed” in mud water- very dirty looking. I have included photos below. This place should be out of business— completely unacceptable conditions.

Disgusting. Avoid this place!!!!

Do not stay here it is a dump!  Holes in bathroom walls!  stale bread for the so called breakfast!  There were room doors open seemed this rooms
possibly were inhabitable.  Even our pets
deserve better than this dump😕

Horrible place

If you like staying places where your room door opens directly to the outside and you can hear lots of highway noise, this place is for you! The room was clean, but the property looked somewhat run down. Too much $ for the poor quality accommodations. Rockingham desperately needs some nicer hotels. 

Decent Place

It was adequate for an overnight stop.  Room was clean, but bed was not particularly comfortable.  AC worked well. I recall there being a strong cigarette smell that found its way inside the hotel room.
