I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking the room.  The building is very rundown and in need of a serious uplift.  Staff was friendly but looked like the carpets had not been cleaned or even vacuumed in forever, low water pressure, ok lobby, parking ok and location ok - but if you can avoid and stay somewhere else. 

Avoid if possible - very dirty rooms and run down hotel

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this hotel. It was so horrible that we did not stay the night. I booked it online based on the Wyndham name and it was also important to me that it was a smoke free hotel. There was a homeless camp in the parking lot and drug deals happening on the corner. I booked a suite with a pull out couch. It was two rooms that both opened up to the hallway, but only one had a safety lock. The other did not even have a dead bolt lock. On our way up the two flights of stairs to our room (no elevator) there were LOTS of people smoking pot in the other rooms despite it being a "smoke free hotel". The rooms was dated, 1970's dated, and not clean. The hallway to our room smelled like smoke. We walked across the street to dinner where there were more shady characters calling out to my teenage daughters despite the fact that they were walking with their parents. I did not feel safe in this hotel with my kids so we left without spending the night. It is NOT Wyndham quality. Definitely more of an hourly hotel vibe. 

Do not stay

No elevator, all rooms at least one flight of stairs up.  No breakfast.  Seriously doubt that stairs are up to code.  Stains in unclean bathroom.  Homeless people in parking lot.  Difficult to get in and out of.   I would recommend people stay elsewhere.

The staff was super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to keep us coming back.
they really do know the meaning of going the extra mile. The breakfast saved us some money too. we will deffently be back on our way home . Thank you guy. great work.

This place has came a long ways from what was  known as the dunes.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable.  The room had a couch but too small to pull the couch out if needed extra sleep space.  The room was located on the second floor but no elevator was in the building. Bathroom fan would turn on and off but didn't seem to vent the shower heat.  Sink was conveniently location out of the toilet area for quicker time getting ready in the am. 

Good Sleep

Surprised Wyndham has attached their name to the Baymont. Pretty run down place. No elevators, dirty carpets and mediocre lobby. The offer a breakfast but can you imagine, they ran out of salt!! For $90/- there are better places to spend the night.

Stay Away

The outdoor carpet on the entrance to the office needs replacement, but it serves as a hint of what is to come.  The office carpets proudly stating Baymont were stained.  No surprise that the room needed attention as well.  Furniture is worn, there was a missing switch plate cover over an outlet, the bed skirt obviously was cleaned, but not ironed, the shower curtain rod held a wet washcloth from a prior guest, etc.  The two positives are friendly front desk staff and convenient location.

Needs attention

The place could use an update. It was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. There are a few hotels next to each other, this hotel doesn't compare to them. For a bit more you get better quality. Just needs to clean up it's look.

Dated

Place needs serious attention. It needs a real cleaning crew to go through and deep clean the entire property, all the hinges can be replaced the plumbing needs to be looked at, repainting or any room repairs need to be painted with matching paint, this place could really use some serious help. It is in a great location for traveling to Northern Oregon it’s in a great spot to stop but is a real dump. 

Dump

Nothing can be said accept Don’t stay here.  Other guest appear questionable.  Hallway smells of mold and Marijuana.  Wyndham has much of this blame for placing their name on this hotel. The carpets were worn and filthy.
