Couldn't check in until 7 because we had a "pet room". Couldn't use backdoor because the card reader no longer worked. Charge a deposit on top of the room fee that isn't disclosed until check in. Allow guests to get high behind building where you walk your dog. When you show concern for your safety you are told it is their right to do drugs behind building. Double charged our pet fee and are refusing to refund. Carpets and bathroom floors dirty.

Not pet or human friendly

This place was a lifesaver when we needed to travel with a large dog. The staff was friendly. The grounds were perfect for sniffy walks. The room has seen better days (outdated bathroom fixtures, a scratched up bathroom door from a previous four-legged visitor, old blanket with a hole in it, freezer compartment caked with frost), but it was better than what I was expecting for the price. It was quiet and tucked away, yet conveniently located near shopping and restaurants.

Good option when traveling with a large dog

This hotel is definitely below par even for a budget motel.  The building is very uninviting with absolutely no landscaping. The lobby is a small plain room with the staff person behind a glass partition with a slot .  The room was OK but had way too much furniture in it for the size.  On the good side, it was quiet.  Now read my review of the Super 8 in Sterling Heights.  Go a little further for a good experience.

Wouldn't stay there again

This place is terrible. Avoid at all costs. Door was obviously kicked in before, bathroom wall was falling apart, floor was damp, mold in hallway, AC unit smelled, and the whole place smelled of stale smoke. It was so gross all I did was sleep and leave, didn't even want to brush my teeth or drink the water.  Why did I stay here you ask? Well, the hotel I had booked cancelled my reservation due to some power issue and there were no other hotels with vacancy nearby and it was 9p and I needed to be up at 6a. Why not ask for a new room? I was told I booked the second to last room and the guy behind booked the last, so what good would it do. Management was less than helpful or sympathetic. Super 8/Wyndham should revoke its franchise license and so should the city/county, there are definite security and health issues at this establishment.

Don’t let the dated look from outside fool you. 5 star not but excellent place to sleep and just relax room was quiet and staff super friendly and always working.we were there for an event close to venue food was assessable. Lots of options right there.

Great place

The price for the room was under $80. It was clean, beds were comfortable, location was good, and for those reasons I cannot complain one bit. It served it's purpose and I will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Saginaw!

Needs to be updated, carpeting didn’t look clean, something on ceiling in room.  Bathroom area could use sink in room rather then taking up space in bathroom and it was low more for a handicapped or short person.

They will charge your account until they can’t anymore. Their bed frames are unsafe and cause me to break my foot. It is dirty and full of drug users. They offered no compensation or apologies. Literally don’t waste your time or money on this place. They WILL rob you 

Don’t even waste your time

Beds were not comfortable, very noisy, and the bathroom was less than appealing. I have usually  been pleased with the majority of my stays in a Super 8 motel, but this hotel, was definitely the worst of all my experiences with this comp.

Needs updated

The rate was decent and the breakfast was basically nonexistent. The Air conditioning was On the somewhat loud side which made for a less than ideal sleeping condition. The room was clean though and well lit outside in the parking area. A good restaurant for breakfast only 150 hours away.
