Oh my goodness! Great place! Authentic and the attention to detail was amazing! Linens, pillows, scents, cookies on arrival, and the breakfast was so yummy and huge! The French toast: Awesome!! Highly recommend!

Beautifully maintained bed and breakfast!

What a great place! Really beautifully maintained, with a lot of history. Staff are attentive, room was lovely, bed was comfy, and breakfast was tasty! The one thing you might want to bear in mind is that it's on a road junction,on a hill,so you do get some traffic noise. Probably not good if you're a light sleeper,but with earplugs I was fine! 

Lovely historic B&B

It's a beautifully appointed B&B. The Deseret Room was large with a high ceiling and a very comfortable bed -  we had the best night's sleep in a week of traveling. I'm not sure if that was because the room's AC was set so cold and had a big fluffy (down?) comforter - or if we were just tired. But it's worth noting we could NOT adjust the AC due to the temp controls being centralized/ not accessible so in the morning we just unplugged it. On our arrival and in the entry there was a plate of muffins/ scones under glass. We checked in, grabbed a muffin and headed up to the room. The muffin was dry/ stale and I couldn't help but noticed the same plate of muffins/ scones were still there in the morning, apparently not refreshed. We also missed their hosting the typical afternoon "Happy Hour" most B&B's offer, allowing the opportunity to meet other guests. The breakfast was absolutely yummy, though being presented a receipt (apparently for tipping purposes) at the end was odd and uncomfortable. Yes, breakfast was included in the lodging - but a receipt - and tipping? Additionally, it wasn't a communal breakfast buffet but plated and served/ ordered at prearranged time slots. Again, no opportunity to get to know other guests. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for (beautiful rooms, great breakfast) but it didn't live up to my expectations/ previous B&B experience.

This B&B is a gem!! Comfortable rooms, outstanding breakfast, snacking/fruit/water out all day.  And reasonably priced too!!  Stephanie is wonderful and very helpful with delicious restaurant suggestions!!!

This B&B is a gem!! 

The Ellerbeck Mansion B & B was steeped in local history. We stayed in the Wasatch Suite on the main floor, which was lovely. The chandelier was gorgeous and original to the house. We were greeted by Kara, the owner - we felt very welcomed! Stephanie served us delicious breakfasts each morning. It was a great experience - we primarily stay in B & B 's, and it did not disappoint!

Perfection!

Was looking forward to staying here and trying it out, however I broke my leg the day before I stayed and my room was upstairs. I called to see if there was anything to be done since I couldn’t access my room , nothing. Obviously said I couldn’t stay then and wasn’t even offered half my stay back. They took it all due to “late cancellation” like I was aware I would break my leg the day before. Not sure about you but I don’t even want to give this place my money again if they can’t even compensate my money, let alone half my money due to a medical emergency. 
Won’t be booking another stay due to indecency ‍️and not caring.

They only care about their money

I can’t say enough good things about this experience from the comfy bed to the delicious breakfasts. The hosts were spot on with the ambience and decor. What a marvelous place to rest and relax. The hosts made fabulous restaurant suggestions nearby too. We will certainly be back our next time through.

The best

Ellerbeck Mansion is beautiful and very charming. I stayed in the Bonneville room. It was during Christmas so the house was beautifully decorated. Keep in mind, it is historic and filled with antiques. It was like stepping back in time. The breakfast was delicious also.

Beautiful, charming walk back in time

What was supposed to have been a lovely stay for our 32nd wedding anniversary ended abruptly as a stunning disappointment before it even started when we arrived and realized how NOT private our Uinta suite was. When we called to book the stay, we were given a choice between an upstairs room (where there are 4 rooms) and a downstairs room (where there are 2 rooms). Not knowing that "downstairs" actually meant the main floor--right off the common area, we chose the downstairs room because we thought it would give us a little more privacy than the upstairs room. The double doors in the Uinta suite have a narrow space between them, which didn't feel very private because you can see out into the common area (and a determined creeper could conceivably have peered into our room). In addition, we could hear almost every word spoken by guests in the common area right outside our doors. One of the windows next to the bed has no covering for the bottom 18 inches of the window, which means that anyone who wants to look in can see everything through the window. That's not private, and guests should not need to place a pillow in front of the window to preserve their privacy! Bottom line: we did not feel comfortable staying in this room, and no other rooms were available. So, we walked out and left, not even being able to enjoy our stay. Even if we had remained in the room overnight, it's doubtful we would have slept much because of our privacy concerns. When we told the innkeeper that the privacy factor was a problem for us and that we would not be staying the night after all, she tried to empathize and say that she understood and was very sorry. However, then she wished us a wonderful evening and a happy anniversary. Seriously?!? From our perspective, that comment felt sardonic and reflected an insensitive lack of true understanding for our disappointment. We felt like the room had been misrepresented (downstairs with one other guest suite and nothing else versus main floor next to dining and sitting areas). In the end, we flushed our money down the toilet because what we thought we were getting was not, in fact, the reality. If I were you, I would not waste money on Ellerbeck Bed and Breakfast.

Disillusioned

Wonderful place to stay, the place was so beautifully and authentically styled and decorated. Our room was spacious, lovely and very comfortable. This place is in a lovely part of town but easy walking distance to the centre of town.

Breakfast was a particular highlight, lots of choice, beautifully presented and generous portions.

Highly recommend.
