What a wonderful stay in a cute, quiet, cozy place with super friendly staff.   The Victoria Inn is right in the middle of the small town and a perfect place to explore the town.  We went for a couples getaway and were not disappointed.  A great room with a nice king bed and fireplace.   So good.    

There are so many places to choose for food around there.     Bakeries and so many options for dinner.    

We will be back.

Romantic quiet getaway

The hotel is great, comfortable and well maintained. The staff really make the experience greater as they are friendly and happy to talk. I was made to feel very welcome and ‘part of the community’. I will always use the Victoria Inn when in town. See you soon.

Marvelous Murphys

Three generations of mothers and daughters enjoyed a wonderful weekend. It's a lovely Inn right on Main St. Our rooms were comfy and very pretty. There were lots of places to hang out in the lobby and outside. We walked to dinner, to shop, and to wine tasting.

Great Weekend!

The Victorian Inn was a wonderful weekend getaway! Walking distance to shops, wine tasting and restaurants. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and quiet. This a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the little town, Murphy's! Looking forward to a return visit.

Weekend Relaxation

Hospitality was excellent.  We live within the area went wine tasting and needed a place to stay for the night.  They were very accommodating and set me up with an available room, on the spot.  The room was extremely nice and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable.  This is not the first time my wife and I have stayed here and we plan on staying again.  Thanks for the wonderful time!

Spontaneous 

Stayed in Wisteria Cottage # 12, the suite that allows Fur babies. The cottage was very neat, clean and comfortably decorated. Stocked well with coffee, condiments, bath and books, games. Bed was ok, comforter could have used a wash but all and all very nice. Close to restaurants and shopping. We ate at V Bistro for lunch, Woodgrill for late night pizza and Grounds for breakfast. Yummo yummy!! Staff were extremely nice! We will definitely return. 

Exquisite stay! 

We stayed in The Loft On Main. 2 bedroom/2 bath. Full kitchen. This was a wonderful property perfect for 2 couples. Plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked. Very cozy and homey.  We walked to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Will definitely book again!

Valentines weekend

We absolutely love the Victoria Inn in Murphy’s! We stay there at least 2 or 3 times a year and it never disappoints. I highly recommend to anyone who is going to Murphy’s to reserve one of their beautiful and well appointed rooms (we love #9 because it has a sitting area in the room and a balcony) 😍

We love the Victoria Inn Hotel in Murphy’s!

We stayed in the Wisteria Cottage at the Victoria Inn last weekend and it was just as promised and perfect.  The bed and furnishings were great and it had enough kitchenette features (mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, small prep area) to bring food or bring in take out.  It had a great draw leaf table which was a must for us to do 2 1500 piece puzzles comfortably!  It also faced the back street, so it was quiet and yet super close to all of the offerings of Main StreetT
the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and communication was superb (I had asked about an e-charger for our car - yes, they have one that worked like a dream).
Murphys is a fun destination - great restaurants (Bistro V is always good and take out from there was really great), shopping and tasting rooms, all on a small main street perfect for walking.  Park once and just enjoy the stroll.  There was live music at one bar on Saturday night, and we really enjoyed an afternoon sipping Champagnes at Pop the Bubbly (the owner and staff are really friendly and fun).
There is skiing up the hill in Bear Valley, Big Trees State Park up the road and LOTS of wine tasting, if that's your thing, and all a very short drive from the bay area.
It is beautiful and green this time of year and not too hot or too cold, so GO!!

great spot in a fun town

This place is absolutely amazing. Central to everything on Main Street.  The check in was easy and the staff was amazing. The parking situation is rough if you get there when it’s busy but you can find parking on the street until another space becomes free. It’s safe so you car should be fine. The room was great, Room 2. Keep in mind that there are no TVs in any of the rooms but they have WiFi. We really enjoyed the intimacy in not having one. The tub was huge and relaxing. The balcony was nice to hang out on to get some sunshine or crisp cold air. Now, let’s get the title of this post… well… let’s just say that it’s difficult to be respectful of the other guest when the springs on the bed are quite squeaky. I’m a dude so I don’t care but it does create a rather humorous situation. Bring some WD-40 or your creativeness when you bring your significant other. And if you get this room… it is right above the lobby and coffee bar. Oh and the bed is really high  but don’t worry they have a steps you can climb to lay down (true story).

With all said, we absolutely love this spot. It’s the best in the area and is quaint and charming. Zero pretentiousness and classy! We can’t wait to be back!!! 10/10
