A bit run down and the area just seemed dodgy. However, the staff were nice, the room was ok and the bed good. With plenty of options for food nearby as well as a supermarket, it suited a short overnight stay.

Ummm

This is the only real motel in town. It is an older motel on the north end of town. I have never stayed hete but friends have. It is not fancy but it is clean and near resturants. Easy in and out with large parking lot. McDonalds is 1 block away.

Only motel around

The place is run down, so first impression was "uhhhh". But...

The water was hot, free wi-fi, comfortable beds, clean sheets, quiet, despite being adjacent the main drag. A/C was a little noisy, but it worked. Overnight stay, even a couple nights, it's a fine place.

Great little motel! Remodeled inside. Comfortable bed, cold ac, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, all the amenities you'll need. Very friendly stuff. Great place to stay before heading into redwoods! Will stay again!

Good little motel

Arriving at the motel after our day in the national parks of Sequoia Park and King's Canyion Park, from our love trip. First impression: Bof, not great, wet. But well, it's for one night and the room price was not expensive at all. Warm home, quick check-in.

Better than you think at first

Today, December 26, 2016, we arrived at the motel. And, although it is true that the quality of the finishes does not sound like a 3-star hotel, but the room is very spacious and everything is well-arranged. Especially note the great kindness and availability of the two girls who are at the reception. Simen (forgive me for my bad writing), and Cristina. We searched for information about our route the next day and printed it. We also had to make a reservation for the trip to the Colorado Canyon and Cristina, use their mobile phone (which at the time was free to greet the calls) and made the reservation confirmation in English for us.

Kindness in the pure state.

Two motel choose in Sanger, and the other place never answered the phone.  So...
Was quoted a price when I called and that price was honored when I arrived.  Very pleasant manager, happy to chat about the huge circus tent erected right behind the motel, with all the attendant smells.  Great customer service and for $55 on a Friday night, very reasonable.  Working TV, Microwave and small fridge, along with a coffeemaker.  Very solid WiFi as well.

Walked across the street for dinner at a local supermarket.  Good parking area, nicely trimmed lawn.

Small Gem in Nowhere Land

We get to the reception and the guy who welcomes us doesn't find our reservation made through Booking...and he wants us to charge even $5 extra... From the outside the motel seems almost acceptable, but as soon as you open the door everything changes. Suspicious stains all over the carpet, old and broken furniture, dirty and full of incrustations bathroom. Thin walls and you could hear every noise from the other rooms. In the neighborhood there's absolutely nothing but a Macdonalds. The motel is located near the railway so imagine the noise when those endless American freight trains pass...in short a nightmare!! The uncomfortable and honestly we didn't want to control their horrible state so we didn't have any bad surprises... SCONLISHED!!

Positive points: - good location (close to Sequoia NP) - nice staff - washbasins not in the bathroom - microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine presence - negative points: - bugs - blood on the bed sheets - bad furniture - not very clean - bad mattresses
