single bed roll away no WiFi no microwave no breakfast pool locked The  name on the sign is Hammock inn and Suites 1402 Boulevard sea side yes one block from beach but need to walk about twelve block to get to the main board walk. The person at the desk was unprofessional when asked if the morning coffee was available there was none I Quito "It's only commentary so if I don't feel like making I don't. I would cross this place off any list would not stay here for free. Not well maintained

This place is really a negative 2 worst place ever been

Stayed because it is dog friendly.  The manager was nice enough but has very little to work with.  No one is at the front desk, but there is a number to call.  The pictures look nothing like the rooms.  I showered with flip flops on and sprayed the beds with disinfectant spray.  Tried to look in the closet for a blanket, there were none on the bed or in the closet.  Closet only opened a fraction of the way because there was furniture in front of it. Price is ridiculous.

Location is not everything.

Location is great, just a couple blocks from the beach and boardwalk, totally walkable. However, the room was a bit gross. Ceiling notably had leak damage and looked moldy, bathroom was tight and in need of a deep cleaning, the bed was literally a FULL size mattress, not queen on 2 COT frames. The cot/bed slid and squeaked everytime someone moved a finger or attempted to adjust position in bed. No blankets, simply given just 1 sheet and decorative spread (not a blanket whatsoever, just a thin rough material). When asked for a blanket, we were given this hard, scratchy, weird foam like "blanket",  not even suitable for my dogs. Found two small bugs in the bed (but no other signs of bedbugs so hopping it wasn't such). We were given 2 towels big enough for a barbie, but then again I was just happy the water was hot. However despite the conditions, maintenance was very pleasant. When the key got stuck in the door lock they did come right away to help fix and then replace the key. When we checked out, there was no around around, not even when you called the nuc
mber per front door sign instructions. We hope just leaving the key at the empty desk was ok! Overall def a 2 star hotel. Could of been worse, definitely could of been better. 

Now the Rodeway Inn- Still awful!

Do not stay. Manager Yessur is the worst. Extremely rude. A.c., tv never work. Missing ceing tiles. Ice machine doesn't work, outside doors have no latches so you hear doors slamming with the wind or anyone walking in or out. Broken stepways in front. Only allowed 1 cup of coffee if social service sets you up there.

Stayed at this hotel with my family, two rooms both equally as bad, hubby and I got the 3rd floor, walked to the door of our room where it says SECURITY LOCK which was hanging off and you could see the wires behind it, inside was the size of a closet, stinky, dirty, they advertise a microwave we had none, no ice bucket or cups, no hair dyer, not even a phone in the room. The bath tub looked like someone painted it and it was filthy and peeling had to leave my sandals on to shower The doors are wood and you can see light around all four sides, the neighbors door had a gap on the hinged side so big see you could into their room. My daughters room was bigger but still dark, dank and dirty and we paid the same amount per night. The continental breakfast is 3 blocks away at a deli where the workers are extremely rude. I've noticed there have been an enormous amount of really bad reviews here about the same things, however no one has done anything about it so obviously they are not going to, so please don't waste your money go somewhere else....anywhere but here.

We went here for a weekend last summer and were never so sorry to have booked a room online.  We had a 3rd floor walk up to a dirty, dusty, dank room with dirty bedding, no floor mat for the shower, no soap or shampoo and 2 very thin, rough towels.  Should’ve walked out right then.

Stay away!

This place is an absolute joke..no parking, no towels, ants in the room, dirty, dusty and zero customer service! Dont even try it! I work in a public arena and have honestly not stopped complaining about this location and choice hotels in general!! Its easy to talk about since it was our summer vacation. Our family of five went to the jersey shore. Made our reservations 3 weeks in advance and then I saw the bad reviews. So I called the front desk and got Carla..asked her if I should bring linens..or if the reviews were accurate. She told me she didnt have time to read reviews because they were always booked. Ok..I get it..people can be harsh and it was peek season. Never again will I trust an employee over public opinion. She just straight up lied. We stayed there for 5 days. We were a group of 5 ppl. We received 3...yes 3 towels the whole time we were there.( zero pool towels as well) When my husband went to the front desk for more Marwan the other front desk employee said " no towels until 3 p.m...dont worry.." what do you say to that? At 1 p.m. someone came to our door with 1 towel. We stayed in room 107. We tried to be good sports but it was just one thing after another. The beds are ALL metal cots with wire meshing. Not actual beds and 2 of them we had to put together but they only supplied 1 set of sheets,  1 pillow and one blanket that was thinner than a curtain! You get zero amenities. I was told that room had a full kitchen which in theory it does but no coffee maker and the dishes provided are all random mixed cookware sets that people left behind and it was covered in ants. Ants were so bad that I left my sun tan lotion on the kitchen table and the next day it was covered in them. You cant really use the kitchen but it did come with pop tarts from previous guests! In addition there was a dirty towel on the floor in front of the leaking oven and the faucet leaks! A lame attempt was done to update with wall tiling and paint to cover mold that still showed..and the sink had a thick application of caulk that was peeling off. The place was filthy and I even found a note from 2017 behind the mirror. Walls are super thin so you can hear EVERYTHING and the A.C. blasted from 2 units in the kitchen but didnt reach the rest of the rooms. So freezing in the kitchen and satan's bedroom in the rest. The bathroom is tiny, the shower squirts out towards the door, no toilet paper provided, the faucet is backwards hot is cold and cold is hot with mold all over the top and walls and the fan was broken. All in all..a tent on the beach is a better option and you will probably have less sand than in that room. I finally know what it would be like to be in prison of course without the meals provided. Even my 10 year old asked if that was how poor people lived and we aren't wealthy people by any means..hence why we chose an econolodge. Dont let the affordability fool you..you will end up losing more money buying towels and all of your needs in Seaside. Stay at the Clarion in Tom's River..it was amazing. Also know that your 79.00 room will be jacked up to 280.00 on the weekend and there is just no way this place deserves your patronage. It's horrible and where customer service could make a difference if they were the least bit friendly..they dont. I read reviews about the great location possibly making up for it but no..you will have to park 3 blocks away at their sister hotel and cart all of your stuff back and forth. It's a pain. As a mom and a wife..do better for your family!

Worst vacation stay ever!!

The girls at the reception were very nice and friendly. Our desire for a room on the top floor was met. The room was not bad. The bathroom was not bad. Even with windows and bathtub. The floor was covered over and over. Black long hair everywhere. Dirt, dust in the drawers, on the window frames, on the floors, the night table.... The first night it was 3 degrees, a crack dragged it in bitterly cold. The existing ceiling was not usable. It smelled disgustingly acidic. The next morning we reported the condition of the floor as well as the ceiling. It was promised three days of decomposition. A fresh tea with a decomposing flame was not brought out after a proper fire hole... but.... no one loved it (although no one had tasted it properly). We had two little towels in the room. The next morning we had no more to get a picture of the next room, and the next morning we had to get a new one, and the next morning we had to get a new one, and the next morning we had to get a new one, and the next morning we had to get a

Horror in the cleanliness

Great stay. A perfect welcome, Tanya has the reception is great always ready to help customers no matter what the need. Our room was clean, the beds were confused, the pool was super and even a BBQ! Really nice little deets are good and the internet works perfectly!
