What a great and welcoming stay. Very quiet and comfortable. Very clean looking forward to the next time we stay there. We, will definitely be recommending Irish Inn to our family and friends who travel through. Thank you for a great nights rest 😍🙏🙏

The Irish Inn/Hotel Townhouse in Shamrock TX, whatever they want to call it: the beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. overpriced. they were lucky that the few other decent places in Shamrock were booked up on a Saturday.

Beds were AWFUL. Bathtub had yellowish stains

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is my understanding that the name is to be Irish Inn.  We stopped to inquire if there was availability. From that point until we left the next morning, they did everything they could to make us feel at home and comfortable. It was recently completely redecorated with new bathrooms etc. Everything was spotless. It gave the feeling that we were the first people to occupy the room. In the morning, the owner herself served us breakfast due to Covid rules in place. The variety of offerings was endless. What we had was delicious. I will stay there  whenever we get to Shamrock again.

The Irish Inn

I stayed here twice last week. Going out west and then returning. Both times Ms. Uma was very nice and accommodating. I had a clean room with an excellent price, in a convenient location. Highly recommend it.

my stay

Stopped in here at the last minute on our way home from vacation. The room was nice enough. It was clean and comfortable. It was a little expensive for the quality, but for a last minute booking on a Friday night I can't really complain much. The front desk staff, whom I assume are the owners, were awesome. Very friendly and very helpful. Definitely seemed like good people. Waffles and eggs for breakfast were amazing.

Had a decent night.

As soon as we entered the lobby the owners were so friendly and kind and made us feel like home.  The property is well kept and the rooms are immaculate.   The bed was so comfortable that we were able to have a perfect night rest. We need it to leave  very early in the morning and we were able to have a fresh hot breakfast.
I need to mention one special detail that was very impressive.  After we left the place and several hours later I was looking for my special pillow that I take with me while I travel.  I called the hotel to verify if by any chance I left it there.  The owners confirmed  that the pillow was found in the bedroom and they offered to mail it to me,
I told them that was unnecessarily but they insisted and sent it by mail. Amazing!!!
In  this days there are not too many places that are willing to do what they did.  It's a small detail that says a lot about their character and excellent customer service.  Thank you so much and many blessings  always.

Top customer service that went far and beyond.

Loved the size of the room with a great sleeping king bed.  Tub and toilet area was quite snug for us tall folks.  Loved the made to order socially distanced breakfast that was scheduled at the time of check-in as we were given time options to choose from. EXCELLENT PRICE!

Perfect for a Quick 1-night Layover

We came to Shamrock on a hunting trip and wanted to place to stay where we could park right by the room and not have to go in and out of the lobby. This worked great. Affordable and really nice people. Would stay here again. 

Great Place

Driving my RV across country I wanted to avoid crowded, maskless situations. Luckily I got off I-40 at Shamrock TX, and on the westbound off-ramp spotted an isolated motel right next to the road.  The proprietress couldn't have been nicer, the room was spotless, the location was quiet, and she gave me a room where I could pull my vehicle up to the door, so it was 6 feet from my door to the room door.  The rooms on each side were vacant, so I felt at ease and slept soundly all night.  The TV worked, all the lights worked, the heater/ac worked.  Not a single wrinkle.  The lobby is locked and you probably won't be let in if you aren't wearing a mask.  No breakfast but a cup of coffee is available in the lobby, or you can check out via the night slot and not go inside.

Covid-compliant and friendly motel

Great hotel and staff. Clean Quiet Friendly staff. Great location will stop anytime same place when I’m passing area. This is a very large hotel. I wish them well and pray for their success. They are family owned and they have over 30 years experience
