Motel is extremely rundown.  Mattress worn out and soft. Sink was dirty, toilet was dirty.  2 cigarette burn holes in bedspread.
Bathtub shower-head held up with a black plastic zip-tie, and did not adjust well.
Breakfast room counter was stained, apples had large bruises and smelled bad.

Hallway smelled of smoke and probable marijuana.  Lots of missing paint on interior hallway. Not well maintained at all, broken room AC's piled at end of hall.



Run down and dirty - don't recommend.

This was one of the worst Super 8's in which I've ever stayed! (Room 109 on 21 OCT 2023.) The motel was clean, but there were 2 major maintenance issues. One was that the light switch in the bathroom could NOT turn OFF the lights in there! We had to leave the lights on all night and shut the door! The other were the many cigarette burns on the blankets and sheets of both beds, even  though this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Also there were tears in the blankets. All these items should be thrown out and replaced!
      Since there are only 2 Wyndham locations listed in Socorro, and the Days Inn there also has bad reviews, I will have to look for motels in other chains when ever staying in Socorro again.



Clean and cheap, but major maintenance issues

The girl at the front deck with a tattoo below her right eye canceled my Direct reservation, and then added me as a walk in. This added $37.03 dollars to my bill. All of this is shown on the internet. If she is taking too long on the computer she is robbing, you. I had no bath water and roaches in room.

This hotel stay was a big disappointment. We booked a suite online, which a gentleman at the front desk went and "checked" to make sure it was ready before we were given a key. 
 Not sure what he checked for, but we should not have stayed here.  The exterior door to our building took randomly 1-15 tries to gain entry each time we went in or out.  The lock to the door of our room was loose and did not feel secure.  The seat to the toilet was only connected on one side and slipped if one was not careful.  The curtain and carpet were stained.  The bedding had an odor of cigarette smoke that lingered on me and my pajamas after I returned home.  This was a non-smoking room.  The freezer compartment of the fridge was an iceberg, and there were gaps between the counter and wall. There were no batteries to the remote control for the bedroom tv.  I intended to make the staff aware of these issues when I checked out, but there was no one around.  I rang the bell, wandered around and waited.  No one.  Not the 24 hr staff as advertised.  As I left in daylight, I also noted several electrical cords hanging on the outside of the building that do not appear safe. That is not the way it looked on the website.  This is not the safe, clean, secure lodging we expected.  It is not Wynham Worthy.  We will not be back.

Don't Stay Here

Bed was comfortable but the linens were, we think, the original linens/towels from when they built the place. AC is loud, but functional. Shower temp and pressure good. Carpet seemed fairly new, BUT walking into building there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. If you like waffles and cereal you’re in luck at breakfast because that’s all they have. Common areas are filthy and I didn’t even want to touch the trash cans. Management? lol.

The manager when asked to help was a jerk.  the  sink leaked all over the top , toilet  did not flush the  shower head needed to be replaced.
 trash old mattress all over the back of motel.
 breakfast was minimal. do not use expedia they were bad and messed up the booking. maid was frindly but did not finish cleaning room

This hotel is way past it's best before date. It needs a complete refresh. Needs new carpets, paint and beds. Very few and badly worn electrical outlets. Good front desk staff and convenient location to the freeway.

Very long in the tooth.

Don't stay here even if you think it's ok to have a roof over your head and shower after you are at Bosque all day. This place needs to be shut down. Appliances are old or don't work with constant hassle with the key cards, staff has an " I don't care" approach to everything. Stains everywhere in the room, not enough outlets. Breakfast is just blah.

Expect a poorly maintained hotel -  cigarette holes in bedspread in a non-smoking room - trash and cigarette butts around whole perimeter,  yes the housekeeping staff friendly and good   dripping showerheads -  shower curtains dont close and pulled out of wall so water gets on floor -paint spray on all doors.  
  whoever is the top manager has no pride, no attention to detail -  whyndam should pull his franchise -  For the money - or $10-15 difference - go to another hotel in Socorro

Location: not far from the I-25 exit, but not loudly. Reception: I'll put it this way: the check-in staff is still in training, but they still have a lot to learn, not even basic things like the WiFi password is... or breakfast is off... clock are already common; from here: much success in further training. Overall, a very populated object that Super-8 offers here, which requires a part - a better reasoning, because for example: you could still see a closed door on the hallway, a self-closing towel; foot floor accessories are removed from the floor; a wide range of other clean areas is needed.
