The staff was very friendly  and helpful . The beds are very comfortable .Felt very safe compared to the hotel red roof .will stay again when come back. I will appreciate all front desk staff and cleaning staff. See you soon statesboro........

This was the worst property we ever visited.  It's a terrible representation of the Quality Inn - Choice Motel flag and should be critically reviewed by the Choice Brands representative in person.  We've never asked for a refund before, but when we opened the door to the room and saw unmade, slept-in beds, full waste basket, and awful odors, my wife started shaking.  The vibe coming off two guests we met was that of a drug dive property.  The buildings are in a terrible state of repair.  The office is not clearly identified.  The automatic doors don't work (a sign says "Slide doors"), and the attached restaurant space, looking very abandoned and derelict, has been vacant for 12 years, according to the manager at another Choice property.

Quality Inn - Choice Hotels:  Pull Your Flag!

We stayed there for 6 nights.

The place needs an overall facelift for starters.

We had to ask for towels, shampoos, conditioners to be replaced.  Had to ask that the room floor be cleaned due to the length of our stay and the amount of times we were in and out of the room.

The ironing board rickety and unstable.

They do not keep extra pillows on hand so night manager had to get them from another room.

Business Centers printer did not work.

Exercise Room equipment in poor condition and some not even working.

I never once saw the "security" person but was told the police station is only a few blocks away (not quite the same)

The free "full" breakfast has no eggs, no meat....we had to go out and pay for breakfast every day because they chose not to supply "full" breakfast faire.

A young boy working the desk did not seem to be very knowledgeable nor was he dressed appropriately in my opinion...not even a Choice hotel staff shirt!

Many of the current websites photos are misleading to say the least.

The worst thing was the mold i n the tub/shower unit.  I cleaned some off during my 1st shower and have included photos of other mold.

Lastly,  I finally spoke to an actual manager the day before we left and gave him 3 days to make it right; he said he'd be talking to the owner

Do not recommend

the pillows are the best and the service is perfect i have been staying here for more than 2 weeks and the rooms are always clean breakfast is always hot and ready in the morning and the pool area stays clean 

fantastic stay

I stayed at this motel for two nights. The staff was very nice during check in. Room was clean. Only complaints I have about the room are that the pillows were lumpy. The room wasn’t soundproofed at all. I had an adjoining room and there was a crying baby during my first night which disrupted my sleep.

Decent place

I would be very happy with the comfortable beds, the very clean room that I got this week, the 70 channels on the good sized flat screen television, the strong wi fi, and the ability to park right outside your room door. I would be thrilled with the central location, happy about the working microwave and refrigerator and the clean but spartan lobby. What I would do is repaint all the rooms. My room had scuffed up doors and walls, it looked bad. I would resurface the walkways that are worn down where all the previous surfaces are showing, looks ugly. And I would educate the front desk personnel about where all the restaurants are. When I asked about a good breakfast place, the clerk told me to go to McDonald's. There are so many good restaurants in Statesboro. Part of the hotel experience is having a well informed manager. Ditch the breakfast---just have coffee and tea, this breakfast sucked like so many of economy hotels I stay at but we walked up to a great coffee house for breakfast.

What if I managed this hotel?

This place has seen  some remodeling - no more nasty carpet there is vinyl  flooring.  The bathroom was also updated to a degree.  All  good until -
A giant roach greeted me in the bathroom sink.  I found some unknown stains on my sweets.  Possibly blood but maybe food.
The breakfast was horrendous.  My low expectations were well  met.  The coffee is weak  and atrocious.  If you like stale donuts  you're in luck.  No fruit,  nothing resembling fresh food.  Old cereal and instant oatmeal.  The instant grits were a box that you could  pour out the required amount.  NOTHING to measure with though..  
There was a toddler screaming outside his family's door for a long long time.  Police were called and he was reunited with his family.  He hadn't even been missed.  
If you can  possibly avoid this place you should.

Low Expectations

It started with them wanting $20 extra for early check-in (50 minutes early - so much for courtesy). Though we had a reservation for 3, we only had two towels and one washcloth in the room. They were nice enough to give me a third towel and two hand towels (not wash cloths). No tub mat, dirty coffee pot, dirty floors, and looked like some areas hadn't been cleaned in months. Did have great water pressure, though. And what's with the McPillow? Old, flat pillows stuffed into the bottom of the pillowcase- I need more than a Mcnugget-sized pillow.

Not going back

We stayed in this conveniently located hotel for three nights and encountered an incredibly accommodating staff. We truly appreciate the front desk clerk, Khan, and his assistance with our room, breakfast and other details; Diana, the housekeeping manager, took care of our needs with a great deal of professionalism.

Outstanding Customer Service

WOW!! This was a hotel my boss booked for us. Went to a dog event. 
Good hotel for dogs, ground floor room and grass to go potty.  
No poop bag or trash can at the doggy station. 
Sketchy people in the parking lot at night having a party. Noisy rooms.
Lots of construction and over full exterior trash cans in hallways. 
Room was nasty dirty. Dirty baseboards and floor. 
The little refridge did not work bearly cold.
A/C heater unit had dirt and dust all over. 
The door handle to the bath room was broken and falling off.
I will not stay there again. But you get what you pay for. CHEAP!!
