Great experience

The reception area is okay. Nothing fancy
But for the price we paid we were happy.

The reception lady was friendly although she didn't allow us to see the room before paying (as all the other motels/hotels did allow us to review the room 1st)

The room was okay. Literally a place to sleep. Carpets are a bit sticky.

Bathroom is okay. They do have soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Unit has aircon and TV.

The worst hotel experience. Booked my room online,  the front door was locked upon arrival. Called the number listed on  the door no answer, tried again and call was rejected 15 times before I looked for another hotel in town.

Horrible

We reserved three rooms.  When we got there, it smelled, the lighting was poor, looked like a bad area, and no one else was staying there.
I requested a refund and he wouldn't give me one.
Also,
I booked it thru Expedia, and they wouldn't give me a refund.
All crooks.

Owner is a crook

My Husband and I own our own hot shot business.We travel all the states except Hawaii and Alaska. And we don't go into Canada. We stay in hotels and eat in restaurants all over the US. I'm a review addict, always skeptical of new places. I need to get better at wanting to take the time to write reviews. When I do take the time it's because someone or something has made quite an impact on me. This review is being written due to that very thing. My Husband while checking in was listening to the owner speak from the heart of a small business owner that is trying to make it in corporate America. This is a huge motel/restaurant that this man is trying to renovate. I talking major project. I don't know if there is corporate backing or not. But i'm assuming not. He is doing one room at a time while restoring the restaurant also. Cant even imagine. We know what it is like building a business from nothing and how hard it is to make it. I think the choices he has made thus far are spot on. He has focused on the rooms quality and comfort rather than the outside appearance. Which in my opinion is more important.It's not what is on the outside that is important it's what on the inside. But I'm sure he will get to that as soon as he can. 
Wish we all could learn to work together in this world. If I were the owner of a large construction company and I was working that area and had workers that needed to stay in that area. I would work out a deal with him to let my workers stay for free in exchange for repairs. 
Now to the motel: Very pleasantly surprised. Huge room, no odd smells, new memory foam mattresses. One of the best beds we have ever had. Better than most of the high scale hotels we've stayed in. Good water pressure. Hot. Microwave and fridge. Clean. Wood floors. Did not try breakfast. Outdoor rooms. Huge parking lot. (Noticed someone wrote a review earlier stating small parking lot) Trust me not small. We have a truck and a 40 foot trailer. We even
 got to park right in front of our room which is so rare. It's almost unheard of.
Yeah the place looks rough but it's actually a diamond in the rough. The rooms that are finished and the owner are gems. Please take the chance and help support this business so the business owner can finish polishing his diamond. And allow an American dream come true. Anytime we are in this area again you better believe that's where we will stay.

We were apprehensive about booking with this hotel due to the reviews however the room was modern updated and comfortable. The room was clean beds comfortable and the room was quiet.  check in was fast as well.. My recommendation to the owners is to wash the walls in reception or a fresh paint.

The only good thing I can say is it was clean. The room smelled, there were stains on the carpet, it took a good 4 minutes to get hot water and the bed was a lumpy memory foam. If we were not so tired we would not have stayed. Will not return.

Older motel, but rooms recently updated. Room was spacious & clean. Bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillows. Everything that we needed for a good night's rest on our way to Estes Park, Colorado. Manager was very pleasant. There was a restaurant, but we didn't check it out. McDonalds was next door. (McD's wifi was stronger than the motel's, so used it.) Convenient to the inter-state.  Very reasonable.  Small town, not many choices to eat, but we were on our way to Estes Park, CO.  McDonald's was ok. 



A good place to sleep, when you've got places to go.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights based on the reviews read but, we were disappointed.The hallways don't smell good, the room is very basic, the gymnasium is ridiculous, ultimately I don't share the good reviews since it looks like a very fair hotel and I wouldn't return.

Excessively basic

The hotel is older, there was a renovation work in progress, a very sober atmosphere, close to the highway, but noisy.
