Great stay right beside interstate. Very clean and very quiet. Really safe area. And fantastic price! Highly recommend The owner is very nice . The sheets are really really nice and soft. Stay here for a great value!!

Great place

This Asian lady at the front desk charged me 453.88 for one week on a Saturday,   she said.  I’ll give you discount next week.   I got off work next week on a Friday and I came to discover that she had locked out my boyfriend.  I texted him to go pick up my mail from the front desk.  She would not give it to him. she said I can’t have my mail until I pay.  Then when he tried to go back to the room the door was locked.  She locked him out!!  I got upset and went to the front desk after 5:30 when I got off work to pay her and get my mail.   She charged me 453.88 again.  I asked her where is my discount?  She said next time.  I told her there won’t be a next time, since you locked out my boyfriend.  She said well I thought he had a car.  I said no he doesn’t.   Then today, Saturday,  after just paying her yesterday.   I get off work at 5:30 pm after working 10 hours.  She come knocking on the door and ask me to leave tomorrow morning.  I told her.  I just got off work after working 10 hours then I’m on-call all night tonight. I work 10 hours tomorrow.  I work one weekend a month.  I run ER lab tests if they have lab tests on an ER patient .  But she said well I have a problem, and you need to leave. After her continuing to ask me to leave,  I pushed her back ever so lightly so I can close the door.  She said I’m going to call the cops.  I then called the cops myself.  The cops immediately jumped on her side since this is her property.  She told them I pushed her hard out the door.  They said she might charge me for harassment.  I told them she is the one who keeps knocking on my door asking if we are going to stay.  This is very unprofessional and rude.  Please save yourself the worry and DO NOT stay here.  They do not respect their customers.  And I’m just here working as a traveler.  I’ve been a traveler Med Tech for 5 years and I have never had a problem with anyone at all the past places I have stayed. I just feel picked on and singled out.

Singled us out.

The owners were not rude to me and I've stayed with these particular owners before.  I usually stayed with them at another location, so if I'd known it was the same owners here I'd have passed on it.

I have made a rather long trip and really needed to rest.  They did accomodate me on 1st floor since they have no elevator and I have a back problem.  But that is where the good ends.

First, they have a 10:30 am checkout.  Few hotels do.  After travel I have a hard time sleeping, so 11 am is actually hard for me.  10:30 is impossible.

They gave me a room by the desk - so that kind of made me feel I had no real privacy. The room smelled strongly of antiseptic or disinfectant.  I am a cancer survivor and very sensitive to chemicals, so it did make me sick.

The room was also very poorly lit.  Very. I felt blind.  People do need to see what they are doing.

The lady who checked me in also instructed me where to put my car, and I found that rather concerning as well. I usually put it where I feel comfortable.

The 10:30 checkout and lack of lighting were the worst for me. I worried so much about not making the 10:30 checkout that I could not sleep at all, and had a miserable night.

While the owners may be trying to cut costs and its understandable in these days they still need to make an environment that is safe and relaxing for guests.

What was also odd, is that Booking.com did not give me a link to review them at all.  And they always do.  (I find that strange). I just didn't feel safe and wondered what kind of strong chemicals I was exposed to, plus worried so much about the check out.

Oh and the room had no telephone.

Minimal, Very

Can't believe this is an IHG property. This place is dirty, run down, smells musty,...Would not shower here if I was paid to.  Stains on chair, almost no outlets, no coffee maker or phone in room, no vending machines. Kicker - no box of facial tissues in the room.  Asked the desk for tissues and lady pulled a bunch out of her box and handed to me.  I know it is a cheap room but we had no choice as we had issues on the road earlier in the day and had to stop for the night.  Called IHG and this was only property they had with a vacancy that allowed pets in the area.

IHG should be embarrassed

I was traveling through Colorado and needed to rest. Booked a room at the quality inn. I mistook the Burlington Stay inn. I told the clerk that I had reservations. He didn’t look to see if I had a reservation. He booked me in Room 109. We started to check on and realized the the quality inn was next door. I told the clerk that I needed to get a refund because I was booked in at the Quality inn. He told me to cancel my booking at the quality inn, and I informed him that I needed to cancel my booking at the Stay Inn. He gave me 1/2 of my hotel charges because according to the contract, I only rate 1/2 refund. He was very rude. I asked him to call the police. But he refused.  I know this is a civil matter, but what he did wasn’t right. I will never stay there and will not recommend anyone else to stay there. I have to give it 1 star, but would have given  0.

Rude dishonest owner

This was a stay part of another road trip heading back east with my Chocolate Lab Mike, though in this case my stop here was after my car overheated owing to a damaged radiator.  After my deplorable experience at the Quality Inn next door,  I walked across to this place where the tow truck driver (who pulled my disabled car off I-70) originally sent me, saying ... "It's the cheapest place in town."

Like a fool I was suckered into the promise of a pleasant stay at the brand-name place next door -- you can read that review here -- after that, while my car was still being repaired, I walked here.

This place is simple, to be sure.  The rooms are small and unadorned but have all the basics, including a comfortable bed, large TV, fridge and microwave.  Generally speaking, the WiFi signal was good.  The bathroom was unusually large but sparsely stocked with horrible towels.  The owner hung around answering questions in practically illegible English, while the staff were mildly helpful.  The check-out time was 10:30 a.m. and the owner seemed reluctant to give me a bit more time, given my car wouldn't be ready until 11 a.m.

Bottom line ... you can get reasonably comfortable lodging here, if you're willing to put up with a few aggravations or two ... and save $30 - $50 in staying next door.  For me it was definitely worth it.  Either way ... good luck.  In this town, my sense is, you'll need it.

Well, it does the job

Highly recommend this motel it has great customer service very easy check in the rooms are very nice and clean it also has very good prices the price for the rooms are not bad it is worth it for the prices

Burlington stay inn

My husband and I stayed here on our way through town. We stayed because of the reviews we read.  The sleeping part of the room was very clean as was the bathroom. My only comment about the bathroom was the drains and gouges in the bathtub/ shower were painted white, which I have never seen, and floor in the tub was badly stained. Should probably be replaced. 

I was woken up around midnight and did not go back to sleep. There were doors constantly being opened and closed and the walls were so thin you could hear people talking and TVs all night. I was very uncomfortable. 

Would not stay here again or recommend. 

Clean but noisy 

I highly recommend this hotel the front desker is very nice the room was very nice and clean it had a microwave and a refrigerator and a flat screen tv the price is fair the location is very safe I will definitely stay here again!

Here I was, all set to give this small non-chain hotel a stellar review for how clean it was. That means a lot to me.  Then the guest above checked in.  Creak, creak, creak.  That's all I heard until Mr. Rumblefoot went to bed.  Really..  pretty noisy.  Same thing when they got up in the morning when I really could have used another hour of sleep.  Extremely thin walls.
