For a Casino hotel this is very nice.
Not smoky in the Hotel area, and Very Comfortable beds.
Very nice restaurant on premises as well.

A little tricky to find, but only about 3 minutes from downtown Susanville,CA

Excellent Place To Stay In Susanville

Absolutely love staying here. The girls are so friendly and accommodating. They make my stay feel so special every time. I love the diversity of the staff. As a WOC I always feel safe and appreciated. The rooms so clean and comfortable, the beds are amazing. Alexis had checked me in a few times and she’s always so happy and beyond helpful. Merly has always checked me out and she’s the best. She’s so accommodating. They always make my stay amazing. Wouldn’t want to stay any where else. Thank you guys!

Love it here

Stayed here because we were in town for a family event and our preferred Susanville motel was out of pet-friendly rooms. First impression walking in the door was stink of cigarette smoke from casino. Yuck. 

Positives are: Staff were all very friendly and efficient, and check-in/out was easy. The room was ok, and the bed was comfortable. 

Negatives, for me, outweigh positives: The pillows seemed to be made from shredded foam and were very lumpy. As for the pet friendliness, there is not one square inch of lawn nor any area accommodating to dogs on the property. There's a residential neighborhood across the street that's fine for walking dogs, just not very convenient. 

On the second night of our stay, we had a jarring experience when, at 1:30 am, the fire alarm went off. Everyone got evacuated. We finally got back in our room by about 3 am. 

At our family event, I got the inside scoop from a local in a position to know: The cause was a room fire on the 2nd floor started by cigarette in a trash can. I  cannot find anything on the hotel website saying there are smoking rooms, so this must have been some idiot breaking the rules. Good thing the smoke and fire alarms worked. I also learned that, unlike other modern structures, the hotel is framed in timber. The fast response from local fire crews prevented it turning into a tinderbox. In the future, we'll ll avoid staying there.

Smokey, not too pet friendly

Never take your friends to this casino and hotel and expect to have a good time , the casino is the worse I’ve ever played at and I’ve played a few , there slots are so bad they have to give money away , word is since they have no problem taking senior citizens social security checks from them via their slots they slowly going out of business , my friends haven’t talked to me since I took them there lol , but really pass this place up and go on into Reno you’ll have more fun and won’t feel like you just got f*#%ed out of your money.

The BIG MISTAKE

Had to stay here as working locally.   They charged my card for 3 nights even though they charged my bosses card for the same 3 nights! Charged his card 3 times!!!
Kayla is incompetent or a thief trained by her bosses.  She promised to only hold my card until my boss arrived and would then delete my card.  She lied.  She charged my card and his card.  4 charges for the same room, same night????  They have spent 2 weeks arguing about it and have finally returned 2 of the 3 fraudulent charges.  $138.60 is still owed to me.  
So they charged me over $500 for rooms they also charged my boss over $900 for!!!???!!!    What kind of Mickey Mouse outfit is this??
I will never trust them ever again and I will recommend that all my family, friends, neighbors and colleagues stay away.  I don't gamble so I didn't use the casino. It stinks everywhere though.  I think I gambled enough by trusting Kayla and her bosses.    I can't keep calling them to get my money back as I am busy helping fight the fires!   I wish people would just be good and honest. Not this place.

Theives.  Fraud.  Drug sellers.     Stinks.

Hey anyone played at Diamond Mountain casino lately , well if you said yes you probably saw the homemade signs players are putting along the road stating what a rip off they are , one sign called them crooks , their new system of monitoring everything you do while your there is ridiculous and is geared towards one thing ....TAKING YOUR MONEY . Stay away .youll be glad you did .

New card system a joke

We stayed here on 11/15/19.  We had driven almost 5-6 hours that day and were looking forward to resting.  Lobby was near casino so we were greeted with cigarette smoke.  We should have left at that point, but didn't.  The room was nondescript.  However, we could smell cigarette smoke for hotel claiming to be nonsmoking.  They were in transition so HVAC wasn't working properly.  We dressed in layers to keep warm in bed.  We couldn't find extra blankets. At midnight the fire alarm went off.  The people next to us were smoking.  As we exited were told we didn't need to evacuate.  Smokers were evicted.  Cigarette smell lingered in our room.  Next morning I tried to talk to supervisor Hailey about our experience.  She stated it was our fault we didn't call - at midnight- re HVAC or blanket.  The blanket was in a piece of furniture we didn't know it was stored. ( Again, our fault we didn't call.  ) The floor creaked.  The walls paper thin and could hear the party next door.  It was the worst experience I've had in decades at a hotel.   Just awful.  Will never return.

Never Ever Will we return

I really enjoyed the view of sunrise from my room. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bar had their own brewery with some impressive offerings. I highly recommend the stout and Blonde Ale. Of course, you can always get the sampler and try them all. And a nice size pool with hot-tubs.

We got to the hotel late after driving from Oregon and checked  in here because my husband likes to stay at casinos and we saw the signs on the highway.  When we checked in the front desk had a lot of different flyers on the counter but we didn't pay any attention to them the rate seemed fair and we were tired.  At 5am I was awaken due to noise coming from above I was going to call and complain about the people above me but when we were going to the lobby we noticed a sign that they would be working on the roof starting at 6am but this work started the beginning of June and this was the end of July.  When we talked to the receptionist she told us that their were notices all around including on facebook. But never once did she apologize for the workers started before the posted time of 6am or for our inconvenience.

Inconsiderate Hotel

This was a great Hotel. Casino small but it was still fun! The breakfast was over the top!! FREE!  The rooms were very cozy and clean. They were remodeling and it should be very nice when completed. The price was adjusted which made it nicer. Great Mexican Restaurant on the same street going the other way. Go! So good!
