I recently stayed at Days Inn in Tamworth and had a fantastic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to key attractions. The service provided was top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Days Inn for a pleasant and hassle-free accommodation experience.

"Exceptional Stay: Days Inn Tamworth Delivers Outstanding Hospitality"

Arriving to the hotel it looks depressing…. We thought it looked closed. Going into the dark lobby there was one guy in a box under a bright light, the lights in the lobby sitting area were off. The person at the desk was very to the point…as you walk down to your room you pass the dark pool room and noticed the rug worn hallways. The room was small and the tub looked rust stained. The bathroom towels were so thin that the ones you can buy at the dollar store are better. The bed felt clean and the shower was strong so that was a plus. The rug in the room also was very worn. My biggest problem with my stay was I was there for a wedding and had my dress coat hanging in the closet. When I put it on a bug jumped out of the coat. I thought it was a cockroach. I told the manager I wanted a refund on my second night there because I couldn’t sleep worrying about if there were other bugs in the room. I asked the front desk person to give me plastic bags so I could put all my stuff in them because I was afraid of bringing bugs home. The front desk person took me into the laundry room to give me the plastic bags and the laundry room was such a mess with laundry all over the floor…. I also wondered how clean my linens and towels were that were in my room. The manager wanted to only reimburse me for half of the second night and I was not happy with that.  I called him multiple times and he never called me once…. Just related through his front desk people. 
I was very disappointed in the way the manager handled it….and I will also send this report to Wyndham hotel because they probably don’t want to be attached to such low quality. 

Very very depressing

Just right. Although the sheets were clean and the smell was appropriate, the bathroom was very, very unclean. Wonder if the shower was washed in the last year and the toilet as well. Hair and mold. Too bad because even though the hotel is old, there is potential if the owners pay attention to cleanliness.

It's not worth the price, it needs a big household.

Place is very outdated and the rooms are not clean! Curtains and bedspread had noticeable dirt/stains. The lamp shad had a big crack in it! Property had trash by the side entrance and the door to the outside would not lock. I love the location but for $200 a night I expect a clean room. 

Outdated, dirty and dingy!

Not a great experience. Disgusting rooms, overpriced. I don’t do reviews but people need to be warned about this dive.  Literally major stains on the bedspreads, furniture and mattresses. Smelled nasty, plumbing issues. Didn’t dare go to the included breakfast for fear of food poisoning.  Thought Days Inn was reputable… nope.

Stay clear

Need more cleaning attention. Bathroom, carpet, closet area and the refrigerator. Room smells like cigarettes even it was a non smoking one. No accommodations for elderly people on the first floor or in the room. 

Okay for one night

The entire facility including common areas such as corridors, breakfast room, lounge area and especially the rooms need to be upgraded. The initial non-smoking room assigned had a strong odor of cigarettes. We did finally get a room that smelled OK.

Days Inn

Accomodations very nice, quiet, peaceful. Got upgraded free of charge to room with separate bedroom - greatly appreciated. Breakfast options not great but adequate if you need to grab a coffee to go. In room coffee maker, fridge, and microwave ready for use. Very convenient. Staff attentive to needs.

Only game in town worth staying

I will never check in to this motels again and I felt it's not safe for women at all as the male staff at the reception was so rude.

It was night 3:30 when I went to the motel and he did not give me keys till morning 5 am and he was an Indian guy and we were 5 Indian girls and he was really rude and gave me hard time and charge extra for 3 rd person and I'm not worried another charge but he did not tell Me about extra charge and charged my card - when I asked him why he argued that he informed and he said I can leave as he will not give me my room key at that time. I felt helpless and unsafe.

Staff is so rude

This is a fairly new building in good shape with good basic rooms. Quiet area, great location and accessibility right on Rt16 with some good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is standard Days Inn with waffles, cereal, juices, yogurt, coffee, etc. No breaks on last-minute booking rates, so book advance if possible.
