I booked this hotel via the Choice Hotel site. I thought I was booking the other Quality Inn a few miles away. That was my first disappointment. We check in two rooms for the weekend. The hotel is only two stories, why does the elevator take forever! Get to the room, open the door...oh snap! Someone is still in the room. Our other room we thought was locked from the inside. Turns out you have to turn the handle a certain way to open. Back to the first room, we go to the front desk and tell them the room is occupied. No...they just didn't clean it. They asked if we could wait while they found someone to clean it. Ummm NO! They gave us another room with an adjoining room door that had tape on the lock. About 20 min later there was a loud beating sound. Like someone was beating on our door. We look out, our neighbor is slamming the door trying to get it to lock. REALLY!! This was all within an hour of checking in. Breakfast bar consisted of a few baked goods, weak coffee and a juice machine. The ladies at the front desk were nice and that's all I can say about this stay. I won't be going back.

Is This A 2 for $10...My Mistake

We booked this hotel last minute after a botched reservation.  The room was a good size and clean.  I cannot remember the front desk lady's name (an older lady), but she was very pleasant and we struck up a good conversation.  
Breakfast was standard continental with the Texas-shaped waffles.  
For the price, i felt it was not a bad place at all.

Good for a night stay

I was there for family business. Service was excellent. Other family member also arrived. They were able to arrange on my second day to have all five families to stay on the first floor as some of us are older and mobile issues. The staff were very helpful. The woman, who I believe was the manger, Petal, was hard working made our stay the best I have ever had at a hotel/motel. Thank you for are stay with you!

Could not say enough about excellent service

this hotel is horrible from the room to the customer service. there was blood on my sheets bugs in the room crack pipes and cell phone inside of ice box mold on the shower curtains. like do not get stuck in this situation like i did. save your money. i changed room 3 times. and mannie who is not listed as the property manager stated the best he could do was give me 50% percent off my room. i called  customer relations and advised them of this too. and i do have pictures. i will be letting my company know not to ever book with this brand again.

HORRIBLE SAVE YOUR MONEY

My mom and I needed to stay while my dad was having a procedure. One night turned into 3 nights so we needed something affordable. Quality Inn gave us a good rate and the rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The workout room was small but sufficed for a quick workout after sitting in the hospital all day. Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely friendly.

Unexpected hospital stay

Pro:  Check in was smooth.  Clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was great.

Cons:  The free wi-fi did not work at all.  When I told the clerk about it, she advised that other guests had complained but she could not do anything about it.  I asked if perhaps she could try to re-set the modem.  She said she did not know where the modem was.  I felt that a phone call to the manager would have been the proper thing for her to do.  The next morning, it still was not working.  

We went to eat breakfast the next morning and found that the eggs, biscuits, and sausages were all cold.  I asked the attendant about this and was directed to the micro- wave oven. The cold eggs I had on my plate went into the garbage.    We advised the desk clerk when we checked out about this and also about the bug we killed in our room.  I thought he might want to know before someone else checked in and was given this room.  All I got was a shrug.

We will not stay in this hotel again.

Not good but not bad either

We booked with this hotel because they advertised as pet friendly. We are evacuees from hurricane Harvey. Our homes were ravished by Harvey. After driving 7.5 hours we showed up at 2 in the morning and they said because of hurricane victims they were not accepting pets. So what were we suppose to do, let our pet stay home and drown. Great Job Quality Inn! Nice job Quality Inn. You are a joke and a disgrace to all Texans.

False adversising

We prefer Choice Hotels and the rooms here were clean and comfortable, as expected. However the desk person who was on duty was rude. we made reservations on the Choice website. we had a large party (7) and got 2 rooms. the clerk insinuated we had more people than we stated. when I am spending my own hard earned money to stay in your establishment, the last thing I want or expect is accusations and rudeness. on various past trips we have stayed at this hotel many times, I assure you we will never stay here again. if not for the rooms themselves I would have given a poor rating.
