It use to be a Super 8, use to be.  Cheapest rates in town is true.  As seen in the photographs, the stairway is kind of dangerous with the trim laying on the steps.
Best to just take a shower and not use the tub.  Bring your own towels would help.

I enjoy my stay very safe place, clean and friendly staff price also great. location also nice and not  to far from Discovery Park. restaurant also walking distance. Room I stay was nice upgraded and comfortable. next time when I back I will stay at this hotel.

Could only make it this far today and came to this place because of the price and I wasn't disappointed. Check-in was very easy and I'm on this app that lets me book a room while I'm driving. The room had a hair drier, shampoo and all the stuff for a good stay and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was and cable was good too.

Lowest price in town

Don't know how long it's been since this hotel was dropped from the Super 8 chain. The people who currently operate it needs to put some more care into maintenance. There were several mop strings on the floor that could have been picked up. The room that I got needed some tlc. The wallpaper trim above the window was coming down and the wooden frame around the air conditioner unit was coming apart. Parts of the bed frame were visible and could cause injury if you accidentally hit them at night. No breakfast provided. The door to the office lobby doesn't get unlocked till around 9 am. At least there is a McDonalds close by.

Former Super 8

I try to save money with hotels since I travel a lot for my business.  I will pay more for another hotel if I have to come back to Union City.  Flooring is uneven, trim molding is being taken up, (I suppose to replace it), no phone in room so I had to go to the lobby each time I had a problem...the TV didn't work first of all, then I noticed there was NO toilet paper in the bathroom so since they locked the door to the lobby at 10:45 I had to go around to the outside to the front & ring the bell since the front door was also locked, then waited 5 minutes to get toilet paper.  There was hair in the bathroom sink, the curtains weren't even hooked up so I had to try to get them attached properly, no breakfast, red tape on ceiling above tub to cover up something.  I will say the bed was at least comfortable, fairly quiet, (since very few people are staying here), the TV also only has the volume go up so high & could barely hear it, small refrig had rust all over the front.  Air condition vents have to blow right in the direction of your face on the bed.  Overall, just plain nasty.

Won't be back here!

They are having hardwood floors installed in all the rooms and hallway. Brand new roof is being finished up. Rooms are really nice. Manager is awesome. Housekeeping needs to improve. Housekeeper they have does a half job on rooms. Very rude to people. 
Other than that wonderful place to stay. Will be back again.

Very nice place.

This is a No-Frills Hotel that offers a really good price for the area. The people running it are extremely nice and working their butts off to refurbish it. It definitely still needs work but it was comfortable clean and safe. It's also right in the middle of all the restaurants and stores so it's convenient.

If you want luxury it is definitely the wrong place for you but if you don't want to overpay by 40 or $50 like at the other hotels in town it's a great bargain.
