The only good thing about this hotel was the lovely lady at the front desk. This is a very tired hotel with obvious deferred maintenance. The first room we were given had a toilet with toilet paper in it and it was plugged. We were never able to get the WIFI to work. We would not stay again.

Older well appointed motel. Very helpful staff.Good beds, plenty of linens Clean bathrooms,hot water all the time.Very friendly to my large service dog.Good stop after ghost town  and desert ratting all day.all day.Good stop between Reno and .Vegas.Fair price. Ok

Don’t do it! Bedbugs. Lots of them! I have bites all over me. When told about them they blamed it on housekeeping. Carpets were filthy. Feet got black from the shower to the beds. Never anyone in office.

The room was clean and the folks friendly.  The location was on the Main Street within walking distance of stores and shops. The facility was old but clean . The parking was tight but I’m sure it was because of the weekend festivities.  Jim Butler Days. For the reasonable price, I would return.

Convenient Lication

The carpet is worn and dirty. Office closed at 4:30 PM on Sunday, room keys in an outside box that anyone could pick up. No hair blower. No TV channel list. Limited number of chanels.  Weak battery in TV remote.

Never Again.  

Our room 29 (on the side street corner of the building) had two decent Queen beds, but was otherwise somewhat obsolete. These car parks are right on the street. Unfortunately there was no breakfast; we took this to the opposite Mizpah hotel. For one night it's fine. The reception with the friendly lady is no longer occupied at the latest at 8:00 p.m.; even before that it's not always open.

I first had to go looking for the front desk person.  Found her raking around the bushes.  It took three rooms to get a barely acceptable room.  The first room had a broken tv, the second was smoked in - very smelly, the third was barely acceptable - lots of stains on carpet, peeling bath tub.  The ice machine was broken so the clerk told me to come to the office if I would like some ice.  I went to the office after dinner (about 5:45pm.  There was a not on the door that they were out and would return around 8pm.

The  reviews  I  read about  the  people in the  office  were  good and  that  was  true both  afternoon and  morning.    The  room  was  small but  the  worst  was a  carpet  was  so  dirty   that  it  looked  like it  came out of  an auto  repair  shop  and  another  person I  talked to in another room  said the  same.    I  was  told  by  the  help  that  all the  rooms  look like  that.   The   advertisement  stated  there  was  breakfast  but  I  was  told  the  owner or  manager  decided  not to  have  breakfast   No  there  was no breakfast.   The  town of  Tonopah  did not  have  any real good  breakfast  restaurants   my decision  I  will  not  stop in  Tonopah  again at  night.

Travel  for  pleasure

The hotels in this town are very close together so was not sure.  However, this was relatively quiet.  We were on the side as the office, so that was a plus.  Also can park close to the door, however, not at the door.  No breakfast as to CC but they provided extra coffee.  Staff was nice and sorry about the breakfast.

this is not high end obviously. but in the world of Motel Jim Buttler gave us a large room with very cold fridge, coffee with plenty refill (as they do not serve the customary breakfast due to COVID), and a general feel and room deco one notch above the run of the mill offering. 
yes, things can be improved, typically the aged carpet, but in general that was a good experience for the price and transit.
