The Western Inn is a throwback to the one story motels of the 50's and 60's, so not you high rise modern lodging.  But is was very clean, comfortable, quiet and very fairly priced.  We were shocked to see we even had not one, but two Lazy Boy recliners in our little room.  Location was nothing special, but like I noted, it was quiet.  It's also family owned, which is a big plus for us.  Daughter currently owns and operates it and it was opened by her parents, whose photograph sits on a table in the lobby.  In corporate America, we love supporting family-owned businesses that are well run.

Another plus was their washers and driers, which worked great and were doggone inexpensive compared to others we found in various motels and hotels.  Breakfast was somewhat ordinary and in a relatively tiny room.  But they did have scrambled eggs and the most fascinating pancake machine we've ever seen.  Took me a while to figure it out.  All you do is push one button and it drops batter onto a belt cooker that cooks the pancakes and "spits" them out onto your plate.  I had to provide instruction to folks who came in after we got there.  Most just stood there staring at it trying to figure out what to do.  What a fun change from the usual waffle flipping machines!

A Fine Example Of A Clean, Family Owned Throwback Motel

This was a very nice family run business.  Very clean.  The decor was done in a western theme.   Also received a continental breakfast. If I’m passing through that way,  I would definitely stay there again.  The location was easy to get to and the price not too bad either.  Parking was very accessible especially if you have an extra long rig.

We totally enjoyed the immaculate room and appreciated the warm greeting at the front desk. A nice, hot breakfast was available. I gave a “4” only because there was no coffee pot in the room, but there was a frig and microwave.
After spending the night in an awful motel the night before, I was determined to stay at a well-known chain hotel. However, their high price led me next door to the Western Motel and I’m so glad we stayed there—would definitely recommend them.

Totally enjoyed this family owned motel

Clean and comfortable hotel with really nice staff. Breakfast more than adequate with a pancake maker as well as eggs and toast. Western theme decor cuter than expected. Rooms good size. Close to the highway but no road noise unless you open the window. Half the price of Hampton Inn if you can forego the pool.

Cute quiet comfortable friendly

We stayed here after stop in Salt Lake City.  The hotel was full.  There is a lot of construction going on in the area so lots of workers were staying here at this time.  Everyone was friendly.  It was a quiet stay.  The room was very large and clean.  The breakfast was included.  It was very good.  We would stay here again.

the phones in the room don't work, no Wi-Fi really to speak of. The staff is always complaining about what they don't have/ the minute I told them I was actually homeless EVERYTHING changed and front desk became soooooo RUDE I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't even ask for services to my room,,,hoping that would help. The police came and arrested someone which every other hotel I've stayed at they at least tell the surrounding rooms what happened to put minds at ease. Like I said I have a dog and I can't calm her down if I'm not calm. breakfast is bread, pancakes, breakfast cereal, and eggs with apples or oranges not really anything if you can't have gluten soooo, thumbs down on that too

At first all seems fine. the room is spacious you can have a dog (with a dog run) But the wifi is terrible,

I was denied checking in because I have a small dog with myself, I booked this hotel just because it was clearing stating PET Friendly before I made de reservation. The hotel receptionist said that they have just couple of pet friendly rooms and they are all occupied, thats the reason he cannot accept my dog. I have tried to convince him saying that my dog behaves very well in the pee mat, thats my family was so tired including two kids... but the guy just didn't care saying loudly that we were not welcome to stay with the dog. So I ended up driving away finding another hotel that welcomed my family including the dog at 1AM, even do not having any pet friendly rooms available.... the only setback is that I've payed $250 for the room. So I need you guys from Booking to refund my card for that unfortunate reservation.

The receptionist charged my credit card in full, even after the situation. They are now just ignoring me when i ask reimbursement.

The worsted possible experience!

A nice hotel that has been kept up quite well. I would stay here again. Room was very quiet, well stocked and clean. It's not the Waldorf Astoria (which I don't know if that even exists to this day) but the room is most adequate.  Check-in was fast and convenient. There is no elevator so ask for the main floor it you have an issue with stairs. There are two floors. The bed was comfortable. I would give the bed a 9 out of 10.  

Rooms were very quiet, well stocked and clean.

It was clean; breakfast was good.  Wifi was good at the front desk and in the breakfast room, but as soon as I walked down the hall to our room, the signal dropped to less than one bar. I tried to get the front desk to reset their hub, but she thought everything was fine.

We spent one night here as a stopover.  Room was clean and large.   It was a quiet night.   Next morning I go down for breakfast, I was on my way out with juice when two young girls, each carrying a small dog walked in.   I called the front desk to inquire about pets in food area, the young woman said “yes sure they can be in there”.   I told her I wouldn’t be coming back for food.   I looked on line and it appears they should Not BE there, only on patios.   This was a pet friendly hotel, I get that but they need to follow rules.    This would have yielded a “4” rating without this incident.   I have asked at 2 other hotels in Utah and they both said NO PETS IN FOOD AREA.    Sorry Western Inn, you
lost my business on a future visit.

Clean HOTEL, Large rooms BUT they allow pets in food area!!!!!     At least this time they did.
