Absolutely the worst place I have ever seen the guy checking me in was so rude screaming and yelling for absolutely no reason refused to give my money back and would not check me in his wife and son had to stop him from throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old

The receptionist (man) was so disrespectful! i wanted to reserve a room over the phone and this man wanted to see me before i reserved it. Made me feel so uncomfortable... So yeah i was upset and started arguing with him. He argued as well and told me to look for a different hotel!

Awful!!!

I can handle no frills, basic lodging but this place was a negative on the frill meter. Towels in the rack looked grey and dingy, and so thin that they were sliding out of the towel rack; carpet was lumpy and the padding crackled when I walked; there was no bedside lamp...forget reading in bed, as the only light was a round, fluorescent fixture mounted to the ceiling with the switch by the door (a door which had a two-inch gap at the bottom). I thought, 'It's late, I just want to sleep', and to be fair, the sheets looked clean, although what passed for pillows were more like the size of marshmallows, but after being in the room for 1/2 an hour I could feel my throat closing up on me and I began coughing. I went outside and after a few minutes I felt the constriction in my throat ease, but back in the room, it began again. I tried opening the bathroom window hoping that would ease the issue but after another 20 minutes I grabbed my things and went to the local Super 8 where I blissfully spent the rest of my evening. 

I must say, I was aware they were 'renovating' the Economy Inn, hence the bargain rate ($55), and the woman who checked me in was very pleasant and friendly but I will never attempt to stay here again. For $30 more at the Super 8, I got plump pillows, plush towels, lamps on the bedside table, not to mention the organic coffee and a coffee pot and a quiet room--forgot to mention how exceedingly noisy the Economy Inn was. 

Do yourself a favor and find other accomodations.

What is less than bare bones...

We stayed at this hotel during a trip across the states a few summers ago. We travel and stay in hotels ALOT!! This place is the absolute worst place we had ever stayed, and we have stayed in cuba.  We booked online quite late at night. When we arrived at the motel the front reception was closed. I had to ring a bell for someone to come and check is in. It took about 10 min for someone to come and the whole time looking super pissed off that she had to get up and do her job. She didnt say one word to us, just dirty looks, handed us a key and walked away. 
The room we had looked like the bedding and carpets hadnt been cleaned in years. There was a coffee machine on a tray with a logo on it from a different hotel chain and also a do not disturb/makeup room from some other chain. Both looked like they came from the 90's. At check out the same lady who checked us in was on the phone with someone and completly ignored me. We left the key, left their cesspool of a motel and will never ever return. We had a few nights more on the road before we were due to make it back home to alberta. My boyfriend did not want to chance renting anymore hotel rooms the rest of the trip after this horrifying dirty mess leaving us to sleep in our truck.

Sick sick sick.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. VERY run down and not clean. Rotting plywood for a walk way on the second story, nasty towels and crunchy carpet because it was so gross. I would highly recommend spending $10 more dollars for a better place. This was VERY icky!

We only slept here one night,the motel booked online,the booking went smoothly,which didn't work out,the promised internet connection.The lady at the reception was somewhat helpless about this problem.The room was large,well furnished with refrigerator,frame and board,the room was very clean.Nearby is a brewery with music and good food,as well as a family coffee shop.Parking is free and we need a pool.The price for the double room is $49 very reasonable.
