Tough to find a decent place at a decent price that is pet friendly in the Hamptons. Our 380 Inn room was not fancy, but more importantly was large and extremely clean. The AC was noisy but didn't interfere with sleep. From the road, the 380 Inn doesn't have much visual appeal. But it has a great location on NY Route 27 with easy access to any point of interest in eastern Long Island. Will gladly stay again when in the area.

Pet Friendly Where Most Are Not

The brown shingles and weathered wooden porches overlooking the decent size pool,and the great location midway between Riverhead and Montauk make this a good place to stay. Much nicer than generic outlets of hotel corporations.  Plus the kitchenettes are a benefit if staying a few days.  The price was both high for a basic simple motel, and low in comparison to exorbitant rates for fancier places east of there.  Even so, the owners -- friendly and welcoming, although not always available either when calling or asking something directly in their office -- could make it such a nicer experience by hanging baskets of draping plants and flowers along the porches above the balustrades and planting flowers and bushes in front of those porches.  Lacking those homey (and inexpensive) touches, and with the cheap plastic chairs on the porches and around the pool, the places looks bare-bones functional, visually neglected. Inside, the rooms are clean and nice.

Basic attractive functionality and good location

This past trip at the motel was disappointing.  I look forward to this motel when we come because it was always a great value and clean.  This time, room smelled like cleaning fluid, perhaps ammonia.  So strong I needed to keep the front  door opened for a few hours before I went inside.  The room smelled slightly musty the entire time. There was no screen on the sliding door.  It was jammed shut but still not completely closed so not an option to open for fresh air.  It was a very rainy two days so in all fairness could have made the room musty and damp. Thankful for the ac which worked great.  

Next, the first bed was actually wet.  Wet pillows and sheets. And sandy.  And the bed had been made.  Seems like the maid skipped the changing of the sheets for a new customer.  I couldnt complain because noone was in the office that night.  I guess I could have called the phone number but chose not to bother them so late.  I had to sleep in the other bed which felt like a blow up mattress and squeaked with every turn.  I went to the desk in the afternoon and the girl at the desk didn't seem to believe me that the bed was wet and sandy.  I felt like I had to defend myself which was uncomfortable.  The owners were contacted and later that day had come themselves and remade the bed which was nice.  
The bathroom ceiling had mold which could have contributed to the odor.  
The porch light didn't work when we had to go out late to let the dog out.  It was quite dark.  Also, they can use a light at the driveway entrance off Montauk highway.  We missed the turn several times.  
I little more attention to detail and this would be a great Hampton alternative to the fancy hotels.  
It won't stop me from coming but My expectation has been lowered.   

Attention to details please

I stayed a few nights @ this little gem. The owners are sooo nice and sweet especially the woman Rosarii....She's adorable! I stayed just to talk to her as well as her husband cuz they were so nice and welcoming. Its pretty homey and clean. I especially like how room service doesn't wake you up so early in the morning and I always come back to a clean and kept room. I read the comment below and it is total nonsense. I didn't experience any of that at all.

My mini vacay

The owners and staff went beyond my exceptions to make my stay here perfect. The rooms were large, extremely clean and came with a mini kitchen. I will definitely be returning . The location is excellent, between Bridgehampton  and East Hampton.

Excellent experience

Stayed at the 380inn in September, it's a pretty property in the middle of Wainscott, lovely owners and staff, comfortable rooms and great rates for the Hamptons.
It has everything you need for a short stay.

Cute and Cozy in the Hamptons

My stay at the 380 inn was definitely one of the best that I have had! To start, the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and in the heart of the hamptons, which made it very convenient to travel to Montauk and other well known areas in the hamptons. My room was very clean and spacious and included a microwave, refrigerator, couch, very comfortable king sized bed, etc. The pool area is also beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Overall, I had a wonderful stay with absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Hamptons area!

So according to the reviews here this place is great place with friendly staff. First of all we didn't even see the staff. We arrived in the evening (8pm) and left in the morning. All we saw was an empty dumpy office. The rooms are bearable, no frills, but has a fridge and microwave. The bathroom is so small and it didn't even have a lock. The amount we paid was $690 for two nights. Wow seriously for this price, it's almost the  Ritz! And we stayed in a dumpy motel. Oh well it's the hamptons so you'll get charged an arm and a leg for hotels in the summer. The plus is probably the location where it takes just minutes drive everywhere because it's located in the middle. Well, I'm not coming back to this hotel because I will not go back to the hamptons where it's not really that special. 

What a dump for the price 

The hotel is located in Wainscott, 10 minutes from east hampton, sag harbour, etc. It sounds like Cabañas with a small kitchen but no horns, what you have is a microwave, fridge, cafeteria. The room is quite spacious and they do the daily cleaning. It has a stack and rest for the summer, plus the owners are very nice. It is a very good option and economical (given that the accommodation in the hampton is high).

A good option.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed.  The bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels and the water pressure in bathroom was very good.  I would stay here again, no doubt.
