Terrible stay. When we arrived, the room smelled stale and we found a big black spider in the tum. Multiple ants crawling on the bathroom floor. Gave us one coffee pod for two people. When I asked for more coffee, gave me a pack of ground coffee. No way to brew that so we were out of luck. Missed the free breakfast because that’s offered only between 8 and 9, apparently. No one bothered to tell us that when we checked in. Still has Red Roof Inn branding everywhere. Quite a mess of a motel.

The worst. This was supposed to be a Baymont by Wyndham property. It was obvious when we arrived that it had previously been a Red Roof Inn. It seemed like it had just been re-opened after possibly sitting empty for an extended period of time. The room smelled like roach spray. The bathroom door was kicked in. The safety lock was broken. The TV didn't work. Several of the outlets didn't work. There were obviously monthly 'guests.' Pretty sure I saw a prostitute in the parking lot. We were afraid for the safety of our car. Horrible experience. Don't Stay There!

DON'T STAY AT THIS MOTEL. Below One Star. A true dump. Scary and unsafe on many levels.

I stopped in for a few days with family.
This place is run by people with no morals or values.
You see the photos and think this is a great place. You come here and your heart will sink at the broken equipment, late scarce breakfast and the awful attitude.

I left at 8 for work. Breakfast starts at ..whenever the extremely unprofessional  and dishonest people feel like it. The foreign woman is very dishonest. She provides cups with no lids. Try carrying milk back to the second floor. No coffee for you to make in the room, None in the lobby.
The heavy set dark man from some foreign country  wears hoodies and glasses, for most part is rude and mean. The foreign staff will pretend that you have no rights.

There are no signs other than the ones that say that the coffee machine is our of order. Same goes for the juice machine.
The woman has a heavy accent and speaks such horrible English that it took ten minutes to get
Non existent breakfast. No guest laundry. No eggs or waffles like the typical Baymont Inn offering.
No one can be held responsible because they don't speak English or even have name tags. No one knows what business is running the hotel. They are supposed to put up the name of the owners. 

The dark man shouts at the guests when he wants to bully and harass.

If you stay here, some feel that you are somehow stuck and that they can raise their voice, not respond or be dismissive. 


Foreigners, unprofessional, greedy. Ruined our stay.  Office empty, no one picks up the phone.

We were traveling from Cincy to Traverse City MI to visit family ... Stayed at this property years ago and it was not a bad hotel ... SOMETHING HAS CHANGED ... THIS PLACE IS THE PITTS ... It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in ... We checked in at 11:30 pm left at 7:20 am ... We got to the room 80 degrees outside, no air conditioner on and it took til 4:30 in the morning to cool the place off ... The ceiling and walls had black soot on them (it was a non-smoking room), the TV did not work, the hand towels had holes in them (one had over 40 small hole in it), hole in the walls, sheets and pillow cases worn out ... Trust me I am being nice holding back not to be mean ... There were homeless people in the parking lot with their belongings in a play pen ... The place was just a run down property that no on has taken care of for some time ... Disgusting --- When we loaded our clothes we took in the room to hang up - going down the road we smelled smoke --- the clothes reeked of smoke and we were only there for 8 hours (we do not smoke) ... clearly NOT THE NORMAL RED ROOF STANDARDS WE HAVE ENJOYED OVER THE YEARS ... PEOPLE --- STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!!! ...

Disappointing to say the least ... I am a 30 year business traveler staying at the Roof three plus nights per week ...

Don't stay here. The rooms are filthy. The staff is disgusting and rude ,there are roaches and bed bugs. The cops are here nightly doing drug busts . It is a defacto low income apartment complex for hookers and druggies. If you want your tires slashed or your car broken in to by all means feel free to book a room. They are doing a remodel currently and the beds are being kept outdoors in the elements , rained on ... And put back in rooms.... The mold alone will kill you.... AVOID THIS HOTEL.
