This amazing cabin retreat was just what we needed after some long days on the road and being up north doing winter hiking. Jeannie and Dave have created such a cozy getaway. Every where you look there is something cute and artsy that reflects the natural surroundings and wilderness the inn is built in. We booked the north woods room to access the jet tub for a nice soak. Our room was spacious and clean complete with a beautifully made quilt and view to the woods which was cool for wildlife watching. We had a nice time getting warm by the fire both in our room and in the common area where we watched a movie and enjoyed a provided dessert (and were watched by the bobcat mount!) The breakfast room on the main floor is an incredible spot to hang out in as the front row seat to nature while enjoying the homemade breakfast, which was excellent. You can tell this whole place is built and run from the heart. We would love to come back again!

Loved our cozy cabin getaway!

Lovely lodge in the woods convenient to Boyne City.  Inviting rustic decor, very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and snacks!  Noise does carry from main floor conversations to our Moose room on lower level, but luckily not too late.  Overall a very homey and peaceful atmosphere.  Perfect for fall colors!

Simple wonderful. Jeannie & Dave are special people. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are super comfy. The breakfast and snacks were so delicious. They have set the bar high for any other B&B's we may visit. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing Bed and Breakfast 

There is so much I could say about this place. The bed and the room was everything you could ask for. Clean, a/c or heat, homey, comfortable bed etc. I'm sure you get it. Then you get to see the beautiful birds while waiting for a home cooked breakfast. The food is not only good but you'll wanna ask for the recipes. Always picture perfect. Families discuss their day and share enjoyment by yours. The owners make you feel as if visiting family you haven't seen in awhile. No fake persona or customer service voice but genuine personality. They share their own travels and experiences. The beautiful garden and pool weather permitting. If this is local to wherever you wanna go. Take the leap and really start the trip of right by staying at Horton Creek B&B 

Horton creek is an escape from reality while feeling at home.

We stayed in the Moose Room and it was delightful as was the rest of the lodge and the property. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Owners Bob and Jeanne are a  wonderful  host and hostess! Put this B & B on your bucket list! I am quite fussy and all my boxes were checked!

Wonderful owners who make you feel at home. The property grounds are absolutely stunning that you can get out and see nature. Rooms are very well maintained & cozy.  Alot of thought went into this B&B

Beautiful large rustic home in the woods with delicious breakfast and desserts.

The inn was meticulously clean; the breakfasts were wonderful; a homemade dessert was served each evening; the hosts were very kind, welcoming and accommodating; the pool was heated and sparkling clean; the grounds were spacious, calming and beautiful! There is nothing more you could ever desire in a B&B!

You Couldn't Ask For A Nicer Place To Stay!!

Just a beautiful place to stay.  The landscaping on the property was like being in a botanical garden.  The rooms were so very quaint.  The breakfast each morning was outstanding!  Both Jeannie and her husband were such gracious hosts.  It was a little piece of paradise!  I would highly recommend staying here.  If I ever get back to this area, I will definitely stay at the Horton Creek Inn B&B.

A Hidden Gem

This was my first visit , and I was amazed by the beautiful landscaping and how peaceful I felt there. The grounds are lush and full of colors, and I spent a lot of time just reading and birdwatching! My room was so cozy and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and the hosts friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to when I can come back!

Serenity

Dave and Jeanie made our stay the perfect bed and breakfast experience. The room and facility was inviting and comfortable. The grounds are a lush, beautiful garden. The breakfast both days were delicious and wonderfully presented in the dining room that overlooks the gardens and forest.
