After searching the Everett area for a place to stay, and finding that even the more expensive hotels were lacking (per the reviews), we found The Mansion Inn at Lake Stevens. The top reviews didn't lie. Reasonably priced too. Our stay was quiet. Our host was friendly and efficient. (When we arrived around 7:30pm she was waiting at the door, holding it open for us! ) She was there for us, but never in our way. We felt like the entire place was our own to enjoy. Weekday breakfasts were of the "to go" type, but perfectly adequate. WeekEND breakfasts were delicious, one casserole in particular was remarkable! She was decorating for Christmas, and each day new things would appear in the common area - delightful. She has real taste in what she chooses. We stayed in room 205, and enjoyed it thoroughly. We'll be back.

Peace and Quiet at The Mansion

Friendly, clean, comfortable. The view from the spa tub was outstanding. Nice bed, not too hard, not too soft. The owners were very hospitable and made check in and check out really simple. The stay was quiet and peaceful and really relaxing 

Great stay by the lake. 

Most uncomfortable bed ever, no chairs in room so had to sit in bed or on the end of the bed to watch TV.  They did not ask for dietary preferences and very unappealing breakfast of biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, bacon and sugary white yogurt. No fresh fruit or produce, no whole grains and no color. 

Sunday visit

I spent 4 nights in the Presidential room.  It was just beautiful!  Immaculate, well appointed, very roomy and extremely comfortable.  The view of the lake was wonderful day and night.  The hosts, Aaron and Jessica were welcoming, friendly and helpful.  Jessica’s hot breakfasts are yummy so don’t miss that.
The rest of the common areas were clean and comfy.  You can have breakfast at the dining table inside or outside on the porch.  Many comfortable chairs and sofas scattered around for reading or relaxing.  Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely fabulous place

You may imagine from the photos that this is an old, classic establishment, but in fact it is only about 20 years old, set in a neighborhood with other residential homes.  There are some nice common spaces where we were able to enjoy a take-out dinner, and the proprietors were extremely friendly, offering us plates, cutlery, etc. if we needed them.  We appreciated their interest in making sure we had a good stay.  Our room and bathroom were very clean and nicely appointed.  The mattress, however, lacked good motion isolation (i.e., it was bouncy), which made it very difficult for my husband and me to get a good night's sleep.

We’ve been back over & over, for 2 graduation parties and one marriage.  We had family stay here with us so we were not spread over many places.  The Mansion at Lake Stevens might fit your whole family depending on when you book it.  
We highly reccomend it.

Best Stay Available in Lake Stevens!

Absolutely perfect. Surprised my wife with a weekend get away and she couldn’t have been happier. The presidential room was worth every penny, large jet tub was so relaxing, and the view was beautiful. Highly highly recommend! The property was very well kept and clean. Hosts were friendly and attentive.

A must stay

Little over 2 blocks from the lake. Beautiful views from Inn. Stayed Friday and Saturday nights as in town for a wedding. The owners were so nice and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding and big servings plus we had use of kitchen and all the snacks  and coffee they provided. Rooms were very clean and each has its own bathroom.  Stained glass windows every where and beautiful furnishings in all rooms. We sat on porch in morning and had coffee. A perfect get away place for a relaxing weekend. Owners were the BEST. Highly praise everything about this place.

Great Bed and Breakfast

We stayed in room 201, The Double. It was very clean and cozy. Our bedding was so comfy that it was hard to crawl out of bed the next morning. We enjoyed playing cards outside on the porch in the evening. There is a small kitchen area for visitors stocked with snacks, water, tea and coffee. The breakfast was yummy and hot. We choose to eat outside to enjoy the beautiful morning. The owners are so kind and welcoming. You can't go wrong with staying a few nights here.

Beautiful Home!

Ohh man the hosts are just helpful as possible and kind. I have never done a B&B before and this blew me away. Had a great breakfast in the morning.

Price wise in my opinion it is a great value for scenery/location/price. I got the penthouse for a special night with my GF, loved it and came back the whole next week in a more economical room to enjoy the pool, lake, and try out more local food joints.
