Pros:  The staff were helpful and accommodating.  The continental breakfast is truly grab and go, but the coffee was tasty. Nice sized rooms. 
Cons:  This is a highway motel so must ask for first floor unless you want to climb stairs. The beds were hard as rocks and amongst the worst I’ve encountered.

Beds are a dealbreaker

The hotel was convenient they accommodated me on an early check-in the room was clean but very dated. The it was close to in location to pretty much everything you want to see in the Mount Vernon area

A place to stay the night

We stayed at the Tulip Inn for a couple of nights. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The bathroom could use some upgrading, otherwise no issues whatsoever. I would recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to the area. It was an easy drive to LaConner and Anacortes for day trips. 

Clean rooms, friendly staff, Affordable!

Tulip Inn was a great find for my trip to the Tulip Festival. It is good value and I had a comfortable room with a mini fridge and a microwave for $100 USD/nt. Room 101 is accessible and the bathroom is well equipped with a walk-in shower which makes life easier. Reception staff very pleasant and checkin and out were quick. 

Across the street from WalMart and next door to Silver Buffet, Panda Express and iHop made getting meals and other items a breeze without needing to drive. It's a busy place and I needed earplugs to sleep. The continental breakfast consists  of OJ, yogurt, apples and packaged bars, pastries and convenience items. Thank you Tulip Inn for a stress-free stay.


Best Value for comfortable stay

They run a tight little ship at the Tulip.  Clean, comfortable and quiet.  A high value choice for lodging.  They have a very good continental breakfast and serve excellent coffee.  The Tulip is a great find and when I return to the Skagit Valley, I be sure to book ahead at the Tulip.

A Great Lodging Value!

The personnel is outstanding but the room was way below standards. As I opened the room it smelled bad (but aired out fairly quickly) Found hair in the drain and cobwebs on the table lights. went to sit on the bed and while leaning on the head board the bed would slide away from the wall every time. And don't get me started on the plastics bed sheet that made noise every time i turned over.

Not clean

Very nice motel, very friendly managers.  Comfy bed, good A/C, plenty ice, good location.  Rooms jhave fridge, micro and coffee makers.  Breakfast was very good with fruit (apples, orange, bananas), muffins, breads, yogurt, juice.  No cereal except for oatmeal.  Our only problem was a dirty floor.

Nice motel, good value

The service provided was absolutely excellent! The receptionists were friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. I forget my toothpaste and the woman working informed me that she had bought some little kits at the dollar store. She provided me with one of these kits free of charge! This inn overall was appropriate for the price. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a free continental breakfast.

Excellent service!

We were there April 20 - 22nd, 2022.  All I can say is fantastic service, clean room, quiet.  They were so accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night.  They moved the bookings around just to keep us there.  If anyone does not like the place, well the problem is yours.  Is it the fanciest hotel in the world, no.  But then the price is not $400+ / night.  People need to have expectations that matter.  You are sleeping.  No bugs, room clean, mattress good and clean.  What more...oh yeah...breakfast  included for a VERY VERY REASONABLE PRICE. Certainly will stay again.

Tulip trip 2022

We had an emergency that required us to stay in town.   Our room had an odor and was filthy!   My husband spilled some water on the floor and when he wiped it up the paper towel was black!  Stains on sheets and towels. Pubic hair in side table. Hair wad in shower drain. Dried up corn and noodles on stovetop.  Everything was not just dirty but filthy!

This establishment has “dirty” reviews as far back as 2-years ago. Nothing has changed so they don’t care to do better. 

Walmart across the street and Burger Master next store was awesome.  Affordable
