Very clean room but little in the way of amenities. No shampoo, even when I asked at the front desk. Rooms are large, and wi-fi was good.  Mini fridge and microwave were handy.
It was a little noisy with slamming doors and I could hear the person in the next room snoring.

I would definitely stay here again for a pit stop overnighter.  The room was clean and the check in was great.  Shirley was lovely and I appreciated a smiling face after a long drive. Nice TV and hot shower was all I needed with a quiet place and I got all of that.   The only thing was crummy was due to people not picking up their dog mess!!! Come on people pick up your poo....this is why we have no places to stay with our dogs because of lazy people. This is not the hotels job its yours!  Most of these places even supply the bags and the bucket so what gives.

Good stay with pets and super friendly staff

We had just been on the road for 8 hrs when we pulled in,  I was a little dismayed by the exterior and the parking lot is littered with cigarette butts.  But the rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable.  Bedding is definitely fresh.  Not a romantic get away, but a clean, safe place to rest your head.

The hotel wasn’t bad. Pretty much what you’d expect for this price. Beds we’re super comfy. My only negative was no fan in the bathroom and it’s super small, so everything was damp by the time your shower is done. But customer service was amazing! I booked through an online site and did not know my grandson would qualify for a military discount. The clerk actually helped me fix that. If only everyone was as awesome as Taylor was.

Amazing Customer Service

There's nothing fancy about this hotel, but it's clean and for the price, it's a very comfortable place to stay the night. It is an older motel so don't think you're going to walk into the Ritz Carlton or anything. The beds are VERY comfortable and VERY clean. The bathroom is small, but also clean. Overall, it was a nice place to get some sleep and the location was convenient to the highway.

stopped here on the way north from Florida. Little off the I81 but worth the drive.

quick check in, polite person at the counter, received my Military discount. Large parking lot.

Large clean room, good bed and pillows. Shower head wasn't mounted high so had to hand hold to do hair.

Only complaint was people talking in the hall, I'm sure it could be heard from the front desk, no one came to quiet them down. I had to ask them to tone it down as it was past 11:00 PM and we were tired and had a long day tomorrow, they obliged. 

I would return if in the area.

one night stop

This property is newly renovated and very clean.  Check-in was very fast and friendly. Price was right and I would definitely stay again.

Clean and friendly

Staff was friendly but the room was not so hot.  I got a huge room, warehouse huge with a tiny bed and an attached to the wall table.  The most exciting part was the light lighting up the hotel which was just right outside my window and the whole room was akin to daylight.  Old and shabby.

Cleanest motel we have ever stayed in. The place was spotless. The front desk was friendly. There was  hardwood floors and no carpet. Entire room was updated and fresh.  Great place to stay on our way to Shenandoah National Park. Side note: We did not find trails we could walk our dog in SNP. I will stress this with every review I post about this trip. Because SNP advertises how dog friendly the park is, that is a lie. Dogs are allowed in your car on Skyline, at visitors centers, and picnic areas, but not on any trail that we found. We stopped at 6 different trails before we gave up and left the park at rt 33.  Back to this Motel 6, it was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOTEL 6 OF WINCHESTER!! Winchester itself is an interesting town. Home of Patsy Cline and many historical things happened here.

Excellent

Hotel is run by a nasty woman who clearly hides condition of the rooms, which must be abysmal. This malicious person had made me drive 10 minutes to the hotel, wasting my time, after I told her I was interested in a room but needed to see it first (she asked me why do I need to see a room on the phone and I said just to make sure everything is fine). Upon arrival she rudely refused to show me a room. This is a first time I encounter a hotel not showing the room upfront, there must be either smoke smell or something else really bad going on with their rooms. I've been extremely tired from long drive and wasted a total of 20 minutes of driving there and back, I will be taking action as I have damages from these deceptive business practices and dishonesty.
