This place is disgusting. The rooms we rented were filthy. They are dated and smelled awful. The bathrooms were so nasty I wouldn't shower in them. I wouldn't take my shoes off and was tempted to just leave and go somewhere  else. I  didn't care if i lost money.

My husband and I enjoyed the place it's nice no problems when we stayed they mind there own business never bugged us I like how the room is set up and I would stay here again and yes there is a cemetery across the street but who cares they don't bug no one so it's fine,I like the place cheap and next to food places

Stop to rest

The heater was VERY loud and the motor to the mini refrigerator was even louder. They probably ran for 90% of the night. The trash truck came at 4:30 in the morning. Needless to say I didn’t get any sleep.

We stopped in Winnemucca very tired and ready to eat and sleep.  We inherited a Conure and of course he can be quite noisy so we were worried about this.  We had no trouble checking in, the price was very reasonable.  With a pet in a small town with few hotels it is very difficult to find one that allows pets. There was not even a deposit or extra charge for having a pet!  The lady at the front desk was not particularly friendly but she was not rude either. She kindly pointed out where nearby restaurants were and whether they were within walking distance. We had a very large room, in fact it was larger than any room I have ever had.  We were a bit disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room as it was shown in the pictures of the rooms. The bed was somewhat hard although springy.  It was clean and the sheets and bedspread smelled fresh and clean.  There were appropriate towels and hand towels etc and the bathroom was quite clean.  The rooms needed updating but were adequate for a stopover.  They did have coffee in the office and a small selection of breakfast items like instant oatmeal, waffles and a waffle maker so you can make your own waffles.  They also had individual pastries in wrappers like you would get at Costco. There was a pool but it was drained but it didn't matter to us as we don't usually take a swim.  It may have been a discouragement to families with kids however.   We would stay there again.

Not pretty but a good nights rest

We drove to Winnemucca with our two dogs, Santa Fe Inn looked inviting from the street, had no problem getting a room with two queen beds. The mattresses were not the best and chairs needed updating, but the entire room was very clean. Even though we were on the main thoroughfare through town, there was very little traffic noise. We were satisfied with the security locks, the thermostat control ...in fact we are booked here again in few weeks.  The price is very reasonable..we did not check out the complimentary breakfast but will when we go back.  I am happy with this motel. It's not the Hilton but then neither is the price.

Pet friendy, good location

This motel is a dump and not secure. Very dated and dingy. Bed mattress sloped to the center, heater/ac unit was noise and the plastic cover kept falling off. TV was old style and the picture was bad. The stuffed chairs had black grease stains on arms. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in.

Terrible

Sam at the front desk is a rockstar. She always has a smile and makes me feel like I am part of the family. The housekeepers do a great job with what they have to work with. Even with the task of making this put of date hotel clean they kept smiles on their face.

Awesome employees

The motel is outdated,, has color chipped on the walls, hard mattress beds,  It did have a refrigerator and it was a large room. walls were chipped and needed painting., Towels we used for showering were paper thin.

Needs to be updated

I originally had gone to Super 8, but they were full. Going down the street I saw this motel, not expecting very much. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was more of a suite, with a separate sitting area. It had everything I needed including a refrigerator and microwave. I slept well, and the management team were outstanding. Highly recommend. Oh, and the price was also more than fair for the room.
