well first of all checking in went very well the person there was very nice and helpful. the room was nice and bed was very comfortable. i would have rated this place very good, except the pool was not working and what they served as breakfast i would not even consider as a breakfast.

Great hotel and comfortable.  The manager, Jag was so kind to us as we had to leave Quality Inn in Foristell, MO due to no hot water.  Jag was very understanding and very kind and accommodating.  He gave us a key to a room to inspect it before we decided to stay and all of this was after 10:00 at night.   In the morning he was very kind and pleasant and wished us well.  The room was clean and extremely comfortable.  We travel there every year for ministry conferences and will definitely stay there again.

Should Have Booked Here First

We wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone! Our room had nail clippings on the floor, bugs also.
They had no hot breakfast, pool was broken down, just not a good experience!
Several people had booked here but didn’t stay, moved to the Super 8 down the street.
This place doesn’t deserve a 1 rating!

Terrible

This hotel isn't clean and is in need of repairs.  There were holes in the wall, obvious mold in the shower, overall dirty bathroom, dirty and worn carpeting, etc.  The AC didn't work properly.  Set at 68 degrees and the lowest the room temp got down to by morning was 74.

*PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH YOUR FAMILY* … We were making our way south and planned to pass through St. Louis - as I was extensively researching places to stay for the night, I realized our best bet to stay safe and spend a reasonable amount of money for the night was to find a place outside of St. Louis. Came across the Luxury Inn, seemed to have good reviews for the most part and a good price at $99 ($94 w/our AAA discount). Booked our stay with a nice woman on the phone about an hour prior to arrival.. Once we got there my husband went in first to get us checked in.. He came out with our hotel keys and was upset because the man at the desk told him there was an up charge for our 1 year old! My husband paid $124 opposed to our previously discussed price ($107 including tax)! The place didn’t look very appealing so I was not ok with paying that price where we could have spent just as much at a nicer place closer to downtown. The man was SO RUDE! He immediately told me that he told my husband that we “didn’t need to check in and there was the door!” I asked so who did I speak to earlier? He refused to give me an answer. He blatantly told me he didn’t want our business. Unreal. AND the pool was closed for maintenance apparently; big sign at their front desk. Would have been nice to know when booking since we had been traveling all day (we have a 10 year old and a 1 year old). I asked to speak to the manager and he told me the manager wasn’t available for 24 hours. I asked for a card and he refused to give me one. Refused to give me a number for a supervisor and refused to give me his name. I’m completely appalled at this man’s lack of hospitality. If he showed even the slightest sincerity of the miscommunication this could have turned out quite differently. After going back and forth he asked how old my “infant” was and I said 14 months, he then said he’d honor the original price we were given. At that point I was done. Not about to stay there, who knows what other issues we would’ve endured. He tried giving me a receipt that said $0. He already charged my husband’s card and the $124 was nowhere on there, so I told him I needed a receipt saying the exact amount had been voided. He called someone to the desk which I assumed to be his son, he provided me with a voided receipt with the correct amount. He son was very polite and hospitable; he told me that man WAS the manager! Crazy! Whoever this man is (older gentleman, gray hair and an accent), I can’t believe how poor his treatment is of potential customers, seriously not even an apology for the miscommunicated price. Flat out said he didn’t want our business and didn’t care about a poor review or complaint to the bbb. We ended up driving 2 minutes to the Super 8 just down the road - SO GLAD we stayed there instead. Their front desk told us there was a storm that had passed through a couple hours prior so the man at the luxury inn was up charging rooms because there were a lot of utility workers/drivers that needed a place for the night. Apparently we weren’t the only ones getting jipped. PLEASE do not waste your time dealing with this man. I hate to say anything negative about a place of business where people are trying to make a living but this man clearly is ok with turning away business and being a complete jerk about it; apparently doesn’t care about his hotel so why should you.

We stayed there and I should have known walking in.  The hallway had such a bad odor.  I am thankful I carry Lysol.  The ac unit was dirty. The bathroom corners had mold.  If you have allergies, like me, stay away.  Pay the extra dollars and go to super 8.  

Very clean room, comfy beds, friendly staff, quiet, small but clean pool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The bathroom was spotless and the mini fridge. Didn't see any bugs. Slept through breakfast tho.

Rooms were clean

Rooms were ok, nothing fancy and were pricey (120)  which is quite a bit more than most on our trip and were definitely the worst and if you get up early and want coffee hey your outta luck. There was some at 4 a lil later went to get a 2nd cup and the owner rudely snapped none til 6:30 when breakfast started- a lot of guests leave by then. I’d recommend driving to the next town room prices dropped significantly. Not much “luxury “ at the place either

I booked this resort through Southwest Airlines via booking.com.  When I booked, I had a special note that specifically said we wouldn't arrive until 1:30am. We drove 6 hours to visit family. Upon arrival, the owner was an a hole. He was rude, and yelled at us. He wouldn't let me find my confirmation, and GOD forbid he look up my name. Rooms were not very nice, and our bathtub was actually being held together by a sheet of teflon tape. It appears the bottom must have cracked and broken. So rather than actually fix it, they put tape over it. When you stood in the tub, you could feel it sinking. The breakfast, if you can call it that, was non existant. They might as well lower the price to stay, and skip that altogether. The pool was disgusting. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The ceiling was peeling off, and I had to ask to have the lights turned on. They charged me $30 to have my cousins 3 kids swim with mine. What a joke. Do not waste your time. The 10 more for Super 8 is woth it!!!!

Bad from the start

The only motel that didn't rase there rate for the country fair great place to stay staff friendly clean rooms nice bed an bedding, breakfast could be a little nicer but not complaininig it is right off the main road easy to find  pay more for a lot less
