Wytheville

Had a good experience at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a newer bathroom shower. Reasonably priced with a decent breakfast. We will definitely stay here again on our way to Florida.

Stopover 

Have stayed here several times on our way to Florida. It's clean, quite and a good location. easy on and off the highway. Shoney's restaurant right at the edge of the parking lot. Pet friendly but not much of a pet walk but they do have a place for that.

Nice Clean hotel

A few notes - 
- Wendy refused to check us in at three (our confirmed check in time from booking.com) told us we couldn’t get a room until sometime after midnight….called bookin.com and all of a sudden there was a room available for us.
- got told the cleaning person didn’t come in until 2:30 by Wendy. Got told the cleaning person had left the premises and “I don’t know when he will be back” at 3:20 by Matt. 
-Got told to call back at 3:30, then 3:15, by Wendy who clocks out at three (but was still there when we checked in AND spoke to the booking.com agent). The new employee, Matt, knew nothing of this arrangement. 
!!!!!!!!!-Booked a handicap accessible room for mobility reasons, didn’t get the room we booked and instead got put on the top floor. !!!!!!!
-Were told the rooms were being cleaned and it started with the 500s, there were literally no other rooms to put us in because they were all dirty…then we get into a room that should have been just cleaned and it’s absolutely filthy. The toilet didn’t work and one of our keys didn’t work. Stains all over the bedclothes and hair in the shower and on towels. 

Horrible experience with lying and lazy employees (Wendy and Matt). STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

Motel very outdated. Very rundown. Nonsmoking rooms in separate building. Room clean however the pillows smelled like they needed to be washed. Bathroom clean. Breakfast lacking. Not even bread to toast. Did have bagels. Coffee was good.
The worst part was maintenance guy knocked on door at 7:30 and walked right in. I was shocked. Said he didn’t see car out front so assumed room was empty. He apologized as did the front desk attendee. She said never should have happened.
Will not return.

Bad experience

It was a great stay for the price! Will definitely stay again! There were no issues. Everyone was nice. It was clean and check in was easy. Breakfast was decent but we preferred to walk to Shoneys for breakfast. 

Great stay

The location was the best in the area. The staff are wonderful and are room was Great. The best Pillows ever. They are pet friendly and this was a big factor for us. We travel to this area quite often and we will be back

Best Hotel In The Area

Been staying at Days Inn Wytheville for past ten years. Rooms have been updated, are always clean and beds are comfortable.  Very convenient with easy on and off access to highway 81. Well managed with friendly staff.

Family Stay

Conveniently located near fuel, food and restaurants.  Staff was excellent, breakfast tasty but not varied.  Room was dated and I did not receive maid service for the 3 days I was there.  I am sure if I had asked, it would have been provided though, given the responsiveness of the staff.

Great location and staff

We have stayed her twice on travels south.  
The room is always very clean.  
Because of the great accommodations the first time we returned again while headed south.  
The bed is quite comfortable however the pillows need to be replaced with a more substantial pillow.
The countertop in the bath area is spacious and clean however there is no drain plug and you could easily drop something into the drain….put a washcloth over it.  The towels are very nice and dry well.
The bathroom is clean but on the small side.  Just big enough to get in and get out.  A large person might have issues as the door opens in.  
Dogs are welcome here and there is plenty of grassy areas for them to use.  Be nice and bring a bag to cleanup please.  They have a nice hot breakfast assortment.  Includes sausage gravy and biscuits!

Repeat visitor

Room was very clean and quiet as we were placed on the side away from traffic.  Nice restaurants close by.  The room was clean and everything worked properly.  It is located close to the highway which makes it convenient.
