First off- they say they’re a “pet friendly” hotel when in fact they only have 4 rooms on the entire property that is pets allowed!! 

Went to check in and was approached by Elizabeth brown, the general manager. She was dry,
Cold and not understanding. Terrible qualities for a GM. Elizabeth informed me there was only ONE door guests could enter the property and
To their rooms and any time someone entered through the exit there will be notification.
They claim to have 24 hour surveillance and people
Watching if you do something wrong that they’ll let you know. I claimed

Two dogs (small and well behaved) on booking.com and thought they knew… I said I had two dogs coming in when I was receiving the room key and
Then Elizabeth said I couldn’t  stay  because all four dogs room were booked! I traveled 4 +hours to Yakima just to get kicked off the premise!! 

Elizabeth was cold
Hearted, not understanding, not caring, stone cold
Faced and should NEVER be allowed in customer service. 

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

Stayed here on a road trip, hot showers, comfortable beds, very clean.  Safe parking for my truck.  Lots of good restaurant and eating options nearby.  Staff was very friendly and helpful.  Going out of my way to stay again on my way back to Oregon.

Great stay for a great price!

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was planned last minute but this hotel provided affordable pricing, Friendly staff, nice rooms, and quick service!  The hotel was located in a very convenient area for me. I would stay here again

Great stay!

Stopped by here on a road trip and had an excellent stay! Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Service was great and the rooms were very clean. Great deal for such a great price, would recommend to any travelers!

Great friendly staff, very clean rooms and comfortable beds/pillows,  good selection for breakfast, and new owners have made great improvements to the property. The hotel staff were really professional, friendly and helpful. Great hotel for the price compared to others, would choose to stay here again.

Best hotel on the 1st street of Yakima.

They charged a $50 damage deposit and then did not refund it. When I called them later to find out why they said it was due to missing towels and damaged sheets. We did not take any towels or damage anything!! That is a big lie! We are disputing that charge.

Rip-off!

Needed a place to stay last minute. Super friendly and affordable. Pets welcomed as well for a small fee. New management and staff are doing an awesome job... Definitely recommend if ever passing through Yakima

Staff friendly and professional

Good place under new management. They are doing good job in bringing this places excited to see new change when I come visit next time! Comfortable stay. The new staff is friendly and professional and they take good care of you.

On October 24th 2019 we rented a room in this motel. I asked for an extra blanket as I feel cool at night. In the night I started to get real itchy on my hands, arms, neck and head. When I went to the bathroom during the night I saw a black insect on my hair. When I pinched it with my fingernail, blood squeezed out, so I knew it had been sucking blood from somewhere! By morning I had welts on my hands, arms, neck and head. These welts kept getting bigger and itchier, so by the next day I went to a walk in medical clinic. The doctor and I both figured they were insect bites! He gave me a prescription for some medications to help them to clear up. The doctor visit and the medications cost me about $100, so we would have been better off to  pay more and stay in a better motel. I wrote to the motel owners and asked for a refund because we didn't spend good money to buy bug bites! But i never heard back from them. So whether the insects were in the extra blanket that I asked for or not-I don't know, but I suspect so!

Both times we were late check in. No issues. Room was clean comfortable 

They only serve coffee from 6-9. Continental breakfast would’ve been nice but plenty of places to eat  staff really nice

They are in the process of remodeling and addingTv. Room has WiFi
