For those who want simple basic accomodation this was an ideal place to stay. Right inthe heart of the Old city of Hanoi, full of bustling crowds and and yes...  MOTORBIKES  -   Everyewhere! .  But though breakfast was basic it was satisfying, and  what mattered most the staff were lovlely people.
They helped get taxis, and day trips, as well as other things.

I pre booked 3  nights and stayed  12 !

I have booked and completed payment for this hotel in the apps VNTRIP.VN and this is all bad experience i ever had:
1- 7.30pm: I have returned Hanoi after Sapa trip and come to checkin. As the hotel think that it was late and I cant return Hanoi so they sell my room to another one. 

2- 8.00pm: I try to contact to the local staff with 4 calls from my side (not them) and they still request me to wait, cause they cant call to the hotel, they will return when the hotel get their phone.
- How if they can not contact the phone: no answer
- When they can give me solution: no answer, may be 1 hour, 1 day or next year maybe

And finally I need to find another place and miss my dinner also (also booked and paid already) They dont return me that.

Super bad. I want to warn Any other visit Vietnam should think about This place and this apps to avoid the bad exp like me. 

Booking in VNTRIP.VN - Super irresponsible

I spent one night in this place. The staff was very friendly, specifically Neao who helped me a lot! The bedroom was clean, I didn't take their bus but if you need to be picked up at the airport or anywhere, they can do it wich is good because the airport is far from the city

Very friendly staff

The room looks small when compared to the pictures, there wasn't much space to walk past the bed to the bathroom. 

There was a small bit of confusion when we arrived as the night porter didn't have the right key for our room. No big deal, we got the proper key in the morning.

Overall we slept fine and it's well located.

Smaller than expected

Asia guest house is a great place to stay in the old city center. The household Leo is nice and friendly and he speaks good English. 
Room has a good air condition and it’s clean. For little money stay in center and be secure and have all what you need.

Great place to stay in Hanoi in center

Very affordable guesthouse. Get what you pay for. 

Staff are accommodating.

Our room was basic, modest and all that we needed. However, there were some questionable smells (cigarettes & mould/damp). The little ventilation in the room meant that the air was very thick & a bit uncomfortable.

If you are a breezy traveller who doesn’t mind the basic old room, then this place will do. 

An average stay for the budget

The photos published have nothing to do with reality. The rooms are old and very badly maintained. Strong smell of locked and moisture. The floor is in a sorry state. One power outlet. No water in the sink. The establishment said that I had cancelled my reservation, although I was present and paid by bank card. When I left, the host said that I had not paid... but the receptionist is friendly and efficient. She speaks English fluently.

A bad experience

There was nothing nice about the room. It is very old and damp. Toilet was in bad condition, the door could not close properly and the shower flooded the whole toilet. Bed was very uncomfortable and I woke up with a terrible neck pain. Also, the bed cannot fit properly in the room so they have put it on the side making the headrest to be on your side rather than the top of the bed and the TV is also on the side, not so much of an issue but it gives you an idea as to what to expect. Really the room was very bad. Breakfast was bad as well, we ordered toasts and all we got was a piece of bread and a bit of jam. Would not recommend staying here at all. We have stayed in much nicer places for the same price that give you a lot of value for money. 

Very bad room

Staff were friendly - especially Mia! She helped arrange our trip to Halong Bay and was always so lovey and kind :) The accommodation was ok, the room we stayed in was a little damp but fine for what we paid.

Not even 1 star they deserve.It was a worst experience we had in life in the capital of Vietnam..we booked for 2 days in 600,620 VND, unfortunately we arrived very early @ 5:00 from Phong Nha by bus it took 5 mins to reach Hanoi Asia Guest House .it took some times to find it out as there were no english signboard.we knew that our check in time was 1 pm.(though the receptionist boy said 2 pm).
We arrived vat dawn at the hotel.The hotel boy was very rude saying he couldn't do anything. It was full.we asked for help since everything was closed as it was .he did not help us at all.he did not even let us sit on the sofa where he was sleeping.
There were no reception. I mean Everything was dark..it was suffocating and dirty as well.so we got out. Sitting on the footpath in the cold we booked another hotel.we walked out from there.

We started our journey from Singapore to HCMC to Da lat, Phong Nha and then to Hanoi.None was ever so rude and inhumane during our journey.
Not at all recommended. Still if you choose it,teach them some manners.Thank you.
We cancelled our entire booking though it took 300+ VND.Doesn't matter,it is tip for them.
