Hoi An

Price was not given to us that was advertised online. It's far from the city centre. Owner was quite rude and standoffish. The water in the room is not free so you will be required to pay it you drink it. Washroom was clean but the shower lacked pressure. Air conditioning somewhat worked. Woke up to the sound of drilling at 7am. I'd only recommend staying here if you have no other choice.

Poor Service but Cpean

Location is closer to the beach than the center of Hoi An, and we had a bit trouble finding it. U can rent motorbikes for 100.000 a day and get laundry done as well. We have enjoyed our stay here, and location has really not been a problem even though it is a bit far out.

Nice rooms and nice family

If you're looking for something a little quieter, outside the old town then this would be perfect! However if you don't rent a scooter or bike you'll find yourself paying a lot for taxis as its definitely too hot to walk into the town.
Really nice staff, who cleaned our bathrooms daily, changing our towels and stocked up, which you don't get in most of the cheaper accommodations in Asia!
The rooms are clean and a decent size, comfy beds, good air con and powerful showers (which are also hard to come by).
All in all a good hostel!

Little out of the old town but great homestay!

I recommend this address, in good weather it is ideally located between the beach and the old town. You have the option of renting a scooter or bicycles at an interesting price which is essential in my opinion. The family is very discreet and very friendly, available when needed. The room was quite tidy, clean, not too bright which is enjoyable in the morning and relatively quiet. Don't forget to pedal a few strokes to go see the floating bamboo bridge!

For 200000d, the room is correct, small but clean with hot water and wifi, and you have to be warned that it's not all ready from the center, you'll be about 3km from the old town, about 45 minutes' walk.

Correct for the price

i was there for three nights last month it was good room with good price. i checked in early morning of my holiday. with nice comforts. there is hot water, ac , tv, wifi everything u want u can get there. home stay owner is also nice and helpful thanks lots

good people good homestay

I stayed for three days.The stay was very pleasant, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and had hot water.The owners are a family, the bad news is that only the daughter speaks English and they are almost never visible.It is about 10-15 minutes by bike from the center of Hoi An, but it is a pleasant walk.

Pleasant stay

The people who run the homestay were nice enough and the room itself was fine. They rented us a bike (a proper banger with only 1 mirror) and allowed us a 5pm checkout (for 50% of the room rate). The room had a comfy bed and duvet, a large bathroom with a good shower. 

However our stay was blighted by the fact that there were ants in the bathroom and dozens of mosquitos in the bedroom resulting in many bites. We also had to go find somebody to turn the air con on every time we came back to the room and there was rarely anybody in the lobby to assist. 

The location is also about 1km further out of town than the TripAdvisor app indicates. It's probably 3km from old town etc. 

Would pick somewhere else next time we visit Hoi An.  

Nice enough place but milked every penny out of us from a big infested stay

It's a clean, nice hotel with great receptive owners. There's a bike rental and a laundry room. There's no cafe, but they can make breakfast if you order from the evening, and they let you use the kitchen.

That's great.

If you're going to Vietnam you should definitely go to the beautiful little town of Hoi An. And for the night, I highly recommend the Thao NGuyen Phat Homestay. It's a charming family that owns this guesthouse. They've been charming and helpful from start to finish. To begin with, I advise you to rent them a scooter for 100,000 vnd (about 4 euros). Nothing to do with Ho Chi Min or Hanoi, it's very easy to drive to Hoi An. You're in the middle of it all.
