Beautiful spot, with nice open dorms by the beach, lots of bathrooms and nice gardens. The public areas were large but there was a screen hiding the view of the ocean. The location is a bit far from the main strip, but there was a bus that you could catch during the day. Lastly don’t go there if you want to make friends. There seems to be a group of regulars that just remain very insular and hog a lot of the facilities (never leaving the pool table free for anyone else). Not the worst but not the best place we’ve stayed at. 

We stayed here during Tet and the New Years festivities were lots of fun. The hostel is a little far out of main town but has everything you could want. The sand dunes tour they provide is comprehensive but poorly organised and more people than comfortable were shoved into our car and we had barely any time to see the sunset at our last stop. The reception staff were very unhelpful, giving us misinformation that almost made us miss our bus to our next destination and not checking us out properly. Overall a nice stay but it’s a shame reception staff don’t reflect that! 

Fun Stay

The facilities at this hostel are amazing, the place is huge! They have affordable bed options from beach tent up to AC dorms. The lounges and bar are great and open 24/7 so you really don't have to leave if you don't want to. The location is isolated but good  if you want to see the sand dunes and sites around Mui Ne. Daily activities were all fun and allows you to meet people. The beach and ocean are pretty trashed but that's not really their fault, I wish they would've had a beach cleanup activity because I would've gladly helped out.

Amazing Beach Hostel

Really loved staying here! Beds were good, social area was really nice and chill and the evening activities were brilliant! Really loved the yoga class! Everyone should stay here! Food was ok not amazing but good for price! The bar could get really busy but it’s just a good chance to chat to people while you queue!

Great vibes

The hostel itself has amazing facilities, including a movie room for film nights. There is a cheap onsite bar providing both drinks and a proper menu! The beach is beautiful, with swing-sets and many seating options laid out.

A hostel that directly opens onto the beach!

The place is great, there are plenty of corners to fall and get lost. The bar is cool and you'll be fine. But it's far from everything. The wifi connection is fatal. And they charged us 90,000 VND more per person, according to them, because we had an air-conditioned room, which we didn't light all night long, if I booked a room for a price I don't understand that they would then add a supplement... The shared rooms are very fair and the tents more.

We booked the Long son Mui Ne resort because we wanted to camp on the beach and be awakened by the sun. The tent was in normal condition but not very big. The chill areas were very nice, however, the vibe was very disturbed by a party of locals at the reception, because these loudly-dropping Vietnamese electric music was on, which was very unfortunate. The staff was partly very friendly (reception) partly incompetent (bar). The mixed drinks at the bar were very bad and I wouldn't call my mojito a mojito.

Tents on the beach

In favor: the common area hook up... with its pool, 24-hour bar, the beach going down 3/4 stairs. There are activities for all nights, poker tournament, run by the bars of Muí Ne, hoguera on the beach all very well set up. The public bus leaves you at the door. Conversely: Being away from the village you are obliged to eat on site and although it is not very expensive to do something cumbersome to eat every day on site. On Fridays and Saturdays the rush in the bar is constant and does not stop all night so for the night prepare some good tapes. Ultimately between weeks it is a perfect place to disconnect in Vietnam if you are tired of many kilometers by motorcycle or long days visiting pagodas and long days around the country.

On Fridays, the store costs $1 per person.

The Long Son Hostel is located a little outside the city but Mui Ne and the surrounding areas are easily accessible by local bus, which leaves directly in front of the hostel every 20 minutes (about 16,000vnd). The dorms are very good and comfortable, the best thing you can do is sleep with the sea noise which is very pleasant. The terrain is very beautiful and quite large, it has its own beach section which is kept clean. In the living area there is always something going on and there are various activities offered every day such as a quiz, a billiard table and a kicker table are also available. The hostel is not necessarily very recommended because it is very expensive and not so good for families.

Nice hostel, lots of cool people!!

Overall, the impression is good. I'll start with the pluses: the beach and the sea in this place, in my opinion, are some of the best in Vietnam; a local bus stops nearby that goes to Fanteet (ticket 16000); the area is very well maintained; the toilets and showers are in good condition; there are locking closets for things; and the most attractive thing is the price - a one-seater tent can be booked for 3-4 dollars a day. Now about minutes: if the Vietnamese are on vacation or a holiday, then the restaurant will have a show for the locals to go to - there's no noise, and taking the kids doesn't help; if you don't get the air out of the closet, then it's impossible for me to get the two-seater closets in the restaurant; and if you're late at night, you can book a one-seater tent for 3 dollars a day; and if you're late at night, you'll notice that it's a big deal, and if you're not late at night, you'll notice that it's a big
