Phan Thiet

It's really expensive in comparation with another Hotel here. We got a standard bungalow but it's not comfortable because of location and everyboday can see in the room. Only one plus is seaside and all facilities is not enough for travallers

Old resort

While the manager was helpful in fixing some things (like the door that wouldn't close and lock), the restaurant is closed, folks who have been wind-surfing or doing water sports use the pool in their gear and clean their noses with the water, the beach is dirty, and the Russian noisy when drunk. A good price for a sea view, but nothing else around. You would do much better staying towards the town of Phan Thiet...with that said, they do have wind surfing equipment and attract quite a crowd for that, but they are mostly Vietnamese and Russian.

A dive for surfers

With as many options for lodging as there are in Phan Thiet (Mui Ne), there's no reason to be miserable and bother with this one.  We walked by here, and it had a sign saying $10 a night, and the receptionist said that they have very good wifi, and showed us a room that looked nice.  We came back two hours later, and apparently that room was gone, and the one they gave us didn't have a working fan, refrigerator or table like the other. Oh well, we took it.  The room had two beds, one without blankets, no towels, no soap or TP, and when I opened the trashcan, a thousand baby mosquitos flew out.  Pretty gross.  The shower was broken, covered in mold, with no hook to hold it up, and the drainage system in the bathroom left a continual flood sitting in there our whole stay.  The wifi was pitiful as well, and took about 2 hours to load a page. 

Like many resorts in Mui Ne, there seem to be many people windsurfing at the beach in front, but when I asked if I could rent one, the receptionist people made it seem as if it was not possible,  Another guest told me that they are reserved for Korean people only.  There is also a restaurant at the beach, part of the hotel, and we stopped by to see if we could get a meal, as there were a few tables of people eating.  When we asked the cook, she said no, only for Korean people.  

Before we went to sleep, I went down to ask for two extra blankets, and the woman gave me the ultimate death stare, as if what I wanted was the most absurd and horrible thing she's ever heard. She told me that I could only have one.  They do have bikes for rent here as well, but after having been in 10 cities in Vietnam, this was the most expensive I have seen.  Overall, unless you're Korean, don't waste your $10.  Not worth the hassle.  Not even sure how they're still in business here.
